My husband and I went here for our honeymoon dinner and we had a blast.

Hmm.this is a tough review to writeA few months ago, my friends and I went for a birthday dinner at Mister A's.

Family celebration. Excellent service , food and attention to detail. Loved our table for six with a wonderful view View menu

Food was hit or missOur waitress spilled an entire glass of champagne on meI was wringing out my hair and my dress was soaked.

Sat outside and the view was amazing. You can see all of downtown and the service was star For-sure definitely will come back!

We sat outside on the patio and the view was fabulous, the food was outstanding as was the service . The only thing that bothered me was they charge for bread and butter , with the prices they charge it should be free like every other restaurant I’ve ever gone to View menu

Belated birthday lunch for a close friend. Arranged a table out on the patio with a great harbor and airport view. Glasses of wine followed by a bread course, then salmon and sea bass. All were cooked to perfection, and well presented. Service was timely, and unassuming. Service personnel were masked, but vaccinated patrons were welcomed with no mask. Mr. A’s will always be one of my favorite San Diego restaurants. Ask for seating in Jerry’s section, if he is working. Bring a hat and sunglasses for outside; no cover. Well worth the visit

Mr. A's is always our venue of choice for special occasions and NEVER disappoints. We were seated at a primo window table overlooking the Bay and airport and enjoyed a lovely sunset. Our menu selections were superb a very flavorful lobster risotto had several large chunks of meat and the hazelnut crusted sea bass was cooked to perfection. The truffle fries were addictive and the dark chocolate pot de creme was decadent and to die for. An additional Happy Birthday surprise dessert was a very special final touch. First there's the view truly amazing, no competition when you get to see it. Next there's the service great service starts when from the minute you enter and continues through out the meal. We had what we needed when we needed it and were not over-served or under-served. Also, our server was quite knowledgeable both about the food, the wines, cocktails, etc. And last but not least the food a lovely selection, truly something for everyone's desires. Fun items on the menu and great specials. We had the salmon and the pork chop and because I know how excellent Robuchon whipped potatoes are I asked for a side of them (even though they weren't listed as a side....which they should be wow, quite y...
