"Our go to get away spot! I always say I'm going to try something new but I love the New York Steak. We did try the Margherita and Mozzarella pizza for the first time. Delish! For appetizers we always have to get the Bruschetta topped with tomatoes,parmesan, basil, olives and drizzled with olive oil. So fresh and sweet but a nice tang from the olives. We also tried theFettuccine Portofino which had jumbo prawns and shrimp sautéed with garlic, shallots and brandy finished in prawn fume Alfredosauce. Definitely couldn't finish the plate. The serving sizes here are large portioned and always have enough to take home. Thebread and garlic butter to start is also so good.It does get pretty busy here but we've always been seated rather quickly ortold the wait time ahead of time. Nice outing for 2 or taking the family. Definitely recommend!"

"Update Jan 2023: still fun for vegan junk food snacks, but boba drinks have not been great quality. Despite wanting to support all-vegan business, for drinks I have to recommend going next door to Bambu. —— Located in a strip mall which seemed to have all Asian shops (including several other boba tea cafes), Happiness Cafe is a pretty typical boba shop except that they are all vegan! They have an ice cream case with 8 flavors you can order as scoops or milkshakes, a medium-sized menu of snack foods (mostly unhealthy), and a few sweets including cake and Chinese desserts. That in addition to the boba drinks which is a pretty basic/standard menu. When we visited, the pearls were a little bit hard on our drinks, but that can happen sometimes. The avocado roll was delicious. It was actually hard to find a parking spot despite the large parking lot as many people were there Saturday evening. I thought it was slightly overpriced for the quality but it was consistent with usual boba cafes. I would go back as it's exciting to see all-vegan specialty businesses! "I always go to this store as we live closeby. I always love to bring my kids in this store, and have them order their food. Yesterday, I went with my 3 yr old son (his bday) coz he wants a cake pop. I let him call the barista so she knows we're ready to order. My son said excuse me like 5 times, said hello like 3 times to get her attention coz she's talking with her coworker. She finally came up to us, my son ordered cakepops, I ordered 2 java chips and 1 mocha frappe. The baristas before were soooo nice, very friendly, welcoming but yesterday was the opposite. Btw, always sip a bit of your drinks before you leave the store coz yesterday I guess the barista who made the mocha frappe forgot to put in sugar syrup. I just found it today as my husband didn't drink his mocha frappe yesterday. Coz what if you just stopped by to get some drinks and you already left then found out something is wrong with your order. And also, they do not offer Java Chip anymore, so you gotta pay additional for the chips. The barista didn't even inform me about it, found out today when I checked the receipt online. I called in to let them know about my concerns, they offered to remake the mocha frappe. The barista who made our drinks was the one who took our order. Maybe she had a bad day. But then, I just wish the baristas will be more friendly and welcoming and inform the customer if a menu is no longer available so we have the option to change our order. "Went out to eat with my parents at Shanghai Delight in Milpitas. They have some good and other decent dishes. We ordered the Braised pork with preserved vegetables, salt and pepper pork chop, Steamed Fish in chili oil, Xiao Long Bao, and sliced beef in chili sauce. The braised pork is a little bit sweeter which I've had many where this is their style. It's still really good and tender, the steamed fish, literally just melts like butter tender in your mouth. If you aren't familiar with sichuan pepper, it kind of has a numbing effect while you eat the fish. The salt and pepper pork chop was a bit on the salty side, so if your palette is more on that side you will really enjoy it. It was cooked really well and very tender and juicy pork chops. The xiao long bao's dough or wrapping was a bit thick and the meat filling was ok. Lots of great dishes to try here. "We sometimes eat here for convenience. Today was for dinner. I ordered the Pho Tai Sach, which had been my usual pho order at all pho restaurants. Their pho has been usually a tad on the sweeter side for us but with generous meat and sach. Overall, 3.5/5. The Hu Tieu soup was decent and good, nothing special but they did provide 2 quail eggs and more meat vs othe places, 3.5/5. Spring rolls, decent and average (seems to have gotten shorter), nothing special or wow. The peanut sauce was ok, 3/5. Our server was impatient and didn't listen well to our order this time. Customer service was made much better by the owner's son, which he usually provided great service. 4/5."
