"Once again, we visited Bistro Citron, a place we frequent at least once a week. Scott, the manager, continues to be as gracious and welcoming as ever, always greeting us with a smile and kind words. Chef Jerry truly excels in his craft; his selection of dishes and the way they are prepared are exceptional. I especially love the wobbly soup, which is perfectly seasoned—not overly salty and full of flavor. The filet of sole is a standout; it’s excellently prepared and very satisfying. There are some new additions to the menu that we’ve tried, and they didn’t disappoint. We've recommended Bistro Citron to our neighbors on the Upper West Side, as well as to friends visiting New York City who are in search of a top-notch dining experience. We look forward to our next visit!"

The atmosphere was vibrant and the restaurant was packed on Saturday night, making it a great place for conversations. The food was enjoyable, and the menu offered a nice variety while staying true to French cuisine. The steak with fries was perhaps a bit simple, and the schnitzel was a little salty, but overall, our group of nine was very satisfied with their meals.

Food was fifty fifty. Atmosphere is okay but would be better without cranking up the music when 90% of customers were over age 50. We ordered the duck confit pate as appetizers. It was okay, not yummy. Entrees: the porkchop milanaise was outstanding. The roast chicken was bland as could be. The strignbeans were undercooked, the sauce had no flavor, the skin wasn't crisp. I had to salt the chicken and fries three times.
