"First of all, the decor was beautiful, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The party room and bar area were particularly appealing. I was with my kids, so we chose a booth. The gelato and cakes looked tempting, but we didn’t get a chance to try them. I really love those soda machines that allow you to mix your own drinks; I'll definitely be coming back just for that! For my main course, I ordered the vindaloo chicken wings, even though they're technically an appetizer, and they were incredibly spicy! The taste was outstanding. The chicken was so tender it practically fell off the bone—definitely the most succulent wings I’ve ever had. My daughter went for the ultimate bacon cheeseburger, served on a fluffy toasted brioche bun with a tasty artisanal mustard sauce, crisp lettuce, perfectly cooked bacon, and mouth-watering beef. The fries were fresh and light—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, even though they were shoe-string cut, which can often turn out overcooked. My other daughter had chicken and waffles, and the chicken was wonderfully moist with an amazing batter. We’re all looking forward to coming back soon!"

I love the variety on the menu and you can’t beat the setting for indoor and covered patio eating. Food was great. I’ll definitely return before leaving Texas.

Absolutely love love love it here. We've become quite the regulars, eating breakfast a few times a week here. The food is amazing but the service from every single person is always impeccable. Jussst incredible. So happy to have found this place! View menu

I've been here twice this past weekend and both dishes I had were great! I had the three pepper burger (nice and spicy, lots of flavor) and the Fiesta Jalepeno Chicken pasta, which wasn't as spicy as I would have like but very good nevertheless. It's a cozy, inviting hang out at anytime of day and I'm sure I'll be back before the week is out.

Friday evening had dinner post some shopping from Allen mall. It's a self service but with really royal kind of ambiance. Menu option are good. Quality and taste wise the food was delicious. We had tomato basil soup , turkey bean soup, veggie pasta and make your own omelette . Evrything was nicely prepared. Will definitely visit there nearby outlet too.

We liked Black Walnut, had been eating here for a few years now. Either sitting outside in the fall or enjoyed tall window view inside its air conditioned room on a 105° day liked today. We always received great service and excellent food. There wasn't adish we didn't like here. My favorite was Santa Fe Salad. Loved its spicy mango cilantro dressing, the chilled thiny-slicedchicken was juicy and tender every single time. Husband liked the Turkey Croissant Club, how it's served warm and flaky. Afull bar, beers, cakes and gelato were also available. Will recommend. View menu

Ok, I spied this place a couple of weeks ago and finally got in to check it out. We had dinner, which was good but we'll be coming back for breakfast or weekend brunch for sure. We had the Mediterranean Chicken and Texas-Sized Wagyu Chicken FriedSteak. It was all really good but the Mediterranean Chicken has tons of different flavors going on. I thought the cafe wasclean, orderly and open with plenty of seating with small tables or big booths to spread out in. The deserts looked awesome, andthey have some interesting mixed drinks and wine too. Can't wait to try more at this place!

A great quaint place in a corner we ended up on New Years ' day. The service was friendly and efficient. We ordered omelet with mushrooms nd spinach and eggs Benedict with lobster. Eggs Benedict with lobster was accompanied with potatoes and was well seasoned. The hollandaise sauce was just perfect and lobster was cooked well. The omelet was also done well and the accompanying toast was a 'melt in your mouth ' lightly buttered and toasted the bread was crispy from the outside and due to its thickness it was soft inside. The ambience was great and as it 's mostly self service the staff took initiative to serve as well. I would highly recommend a visit here.<br/ <br/ Cheers <br/ A

"On our last night visiting our kids (we live in Michigan-they live in Texas), we chose lazy dog. There was no waiting, we were seated right away. I was truly impressed with the interior decor. The birch looking trees by the concierge lent an air of nature. The metal dog sculptures were pretty awesome. I loved the beams in the high ceiling, very cool and I am inspired to create something similar in my own home. The fireplace wall was awesome, huge and the deer head mounted on it was unique and fitting. The restaurant was clean and spacious, easy to see from the road. Our waitress was Margaret and she was very friendly, knowledgeable seemed happy to be there. She brought our drinks right away. My son enjoyed the Alaskan Halibut. He raved about how good it was. The rest of us were slightly disappointed. IMO, the lazy dog takes the usual menu offerings but puts their on twist on it. There’s nothing wrong with that, it just didn’t meet our expectations. The queso was orange cheese with a different flavor-not bad, but not what we were expecting either. My daughter got the fried chicken meal. The seasoning in the breading was, different, unusual. Four of us tried it, the only one that really enjoyed it was my son. I got the pot roast beef dip. That was good and tasty. Both I and my daughter enjoyed the sandwich. The onion rings didn’t have much taste and I found them unremarkable. Hubbs got the cheeseburger which he liked and my acquired daughter got the all American burger which she liked. The portions of food were generous, but I felt the prices were high. I’m glad we tried this restaurant, but it is not going on my “must return” or favorite lists."
