"We have been coming to the Boar's Head since 1982. It has the same great service, quiet atmosphere, and superb food that it has always had. We love going there because it is cozy and quiet- no rowdy beach goers slamming beer bottles on the table andlaughing at maximum volume. The service and wait staff are among the best! The food is right up there with the best that PCB hasto offer. The grilled tuna is exceptional, the prime rib is unbelievably good, the super fresh salads are cold and crisp, andthe lobster bisque is soooo good. Save room for dessert! The dessert tray offerings are all so delicious. Our favorites are thewarm chocolate turtle pie with ice cream and the key lime pie! Thank goodness some classic restaurants do not change with thetimes. Gratefully some, like the Boar's Head, stick with the tried and true way of offering great food in a charmingatmosphere!"

Don’t be fooled by the unassuming exterior of the restaurant; the interior boasts a charming atmosphere. The food is outstanding—fresh, delightful, and truly delicious.

I'm only going to say this once: you have to try the blackened prime rib! It's by far the best prime rib I've ever tasted. No doubt about it! As for the escargot appetizer, it's...

We accidentally ate here once. By accident. No one was here and we thought they were closed but it seems more like they were waiting on us. Great service with a smile and the blackened Prime Rib was A+ outstanding. Not 1 bad feeling about this place. View menu

It really could be a nice place, but it needs a major update. It's just not clean, furniture is outdated, smells old. Food was just meh...plus there was nobody. Felt like a haunted house. Staff was nice and courteous. It's still a tad better than all the over priced fried food places around.

Daniel, the most lively waiter. We loved the food and service. Daniel our waiter is just the right guy for the job, he was very ecstatic and explained their specials. We are s group always with a thousand questions and he didn't mind at all. He made ourdining experience enjoyable. Thank you Daniel for taking our pictures too

Incredible!!! We had my wedding reception here, and I could not have asked for a better place to have it at. They made a menu just for us for our guests to choose from. And the food was out of this world! The staff was just as amazing as the food, andthey were super sweet. They made is feel like we were the only people in the place. Barry Jr. was exceptional at helping makeour night special for us. Thank you all for everything!!! View menu

When we arrived the restaurant was suspiciously empty with no wait for our party of 11. We thought we were fortuitous but we soon found out the reason why no one was there on a Saturday. The wait staff was great they we're friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. They were always quick to refill our glasses. After ordering, the food took 40 minutes to arrive. The dishes were under seasoned and undercooked. It was a disappointment especially for the price. This was my first time to Panama City Beach but if I should return I have no plans of eating at this restaurant again. I would not recommend it.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our family at the Boars Head, and it was an excellent choice for our special occasion! The staff took great care of us, ensuring our table was reserved away from other guests, and the food was absolutely delicious. There were plenty of options across various price ranges, catering to all our family members aged 11 to 72, so everyone found something they liked. We brought our own cake, and they kindly cut it and served it for us. Our waitress, Ashley, was incredibly friendly and patient, always focused on making our experience enjoyable—her only concern was to pop the cork on the champagne! We never felt rushed, and she truly made our celebration memora...

"We ordered the cheese fondue appetizer, which turned out to be just a pile of croutons with melted cheese that tasted barely better than store-bought queso. I usually love fondue, but this seemed like someone had attempted to make it with random ingredients from their fridge without any understanding of how to create good flavors. Next, we tried the Malaga shrimp, which was horrible. It sounded enticing on the menu, but what we received was three small pieces of toast topped with overcooked shrimp and an overwhelming amount of soggy spinach. The sheer quantity of spinach was absurd and the flavors were unappetizing. The toast ended up a mushy mess because of the excess wet spinach. In a desperate attempt to find something enjoyable, we ordered the Enfuego chicken, which turned out to be mediocre at best and quite stringy. For dessert, we thought we'd try the OMG cookie sandwich, assuming chocolate cookies and espresso cream would be a safe bet. Unfortunately, it too was a letdown. The cookies were overcooked and lacked depth of flavor—just overly sweet chocolate—and the espresso cream filling tasted like a fancy cream cheese frosting with no real hint of espresso. Given the prices at this restaurant, we expected dishes that displayed good understanding of flavor and texture, but what we received was, frankly, not good. I've had better meals at an Applebee's. The service was okay—not particularly attentive—but we did appreciate that our server removed the Malaga shrimp from our bill. Overall, there are definitely far better places to spend your money and enjoy a meal in the 30A area."
