Brooklyn Deli serves enormous sandwiches. I usually order half-sized sandwiches and still find myself unable to finish. Alternatively, I get the full size and take half of it home. The staff is always exceptionally friendly. I really enjoy their fresh dill pickles, but you need to remember to ask for them!

Delicious! Just what a Long Island girl is looking for in a Deli! I had several breakfast sandwiches on Kaiser reels that remind me of home, but I just tried their pastrami sandwich and it was AMAZING. I have replaced the Esther 's Delight Sandwich (see picture) and the Pumpernickel bread for sourdough. It was exactly what I wanted! I recommend this restaurant/deli!

If it's your first visit, I suggest starting with a half sandwich and some fries, especially if you’re not too hungry. If you are feeling famished, you could easily tackle four chili half smokes! This restaurant is usually bustling, so be prepared for that. The lady who manages the seating does an excellent job and is always friendly.
