"The Portuguese menu is particularly interesting and was very good. The standard menu is broad and covers a wide range of food and prices, but don't miss out on a selection of delicious, unusual, and moderately priced Portuguese dishes. There was only one server. She worked incredibly hard and was attentive and helpful, but service was slow since she she had no help. The young man who bused the tables was also courteous, attentive, and affable. Parking was in short supply, as is often true in Salem, particularly because of the popularity of the adjacent Notch Brewing Tap Room. We found plenty of parking a short walk away on 24-30 Congress Street, on the other side of the short bridge."

This was the first time we had been to Brothers Taverna since the introduction of the Portuguese specialties on the dinner menu. What a fantastic meal, at very reasonable prices. Try the paella and bring your appetite! View menu

I had a lovely lunch outside at this restaurant. I was pleased to find a vegan option on the menu (a veggie panini) and vegan beer available on tap. The waitress was very friendly, and the service was prompt. Everything tasted great. Regarding COVID precautions, I felt that Salem was taking safety seriously. People walking by the restaurant on the sidewalk were even required to wear masks. Great job!

this restaurant must be removed from open table. we have made a reservation for a party of 6 for mother's day. when we arrived for our reservation, we were told that they do not have a reservation for us because they do not have access to the open table reservation system. it was 11 o'clock on the day of the mother so that we could obviously not go because who could take on a party of 6 as a march to the brunch on the day of the mother, so we had to wait for a table. After we finally had taken a place, they had a problem with their online order system, and we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to come to our food. never again.

"The restaurant serves well-designed American Chinese food that tastes great and has wonderful service. They offer a combination special that includes soup, an appetizer, a main course, and dessert for just $12. I give the vibe a 4 out of 5. This charming little independent Chinese restaurant is located in a strip mall parking lot. The inside is cozy with about 8 to 10 tables. The decoration reminds me of Chinese restaurants from the 80s and 90s, with red wall art and Chinese zodiac posters, which brought back good memories. For service, I give a perfect 5 out of 5. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They took our orders quickly, and our meals arrived at just the right time. Our hot tea kettle was always full, and when it was time to pay, we just settled the bill at the counter. The food also gets a 5 out of 5. If you're looking for great American-style Chinese food, you can't go wrong here. Little China offers a variety of well-prepared dishes. Their dinner combination meals are a great deal, with a choice of 20 main courses that come with a cup of soup (wonton or egg drop), an egg roll or ribs as an appetizer, hot tea, and dessert (ice cream or rice pudding) for around $12, though prices may vary based on the main course. The main course is a full-size portion, not a smaller lunch size. During our last visit, we ordered the Char Siu Pan and the beef with veggies, along with some soups, 1 egg roll, and 1 spare rib. We also tried the crunchy seafood plate and steamed dumplings. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great, but the amazing soup and Char Siu Pan were the highlights of the meal. Everything I saw coming from the kitchen looked delicious. I wouldn’t hesitate to order anything from Little China!"
