"Started w/ Chopped Antipasti Salad. Best Italian-style salad I've had in years! Mixed greens heavily dressed in tangy vinaigrette, but still crisp greens w/ chopped Italian meats, pepperoncini/cucumber/tomato, blk/green olives, Gorgonzola/feta/provolone cheeses. The best salty, acidic, cheesy, combination of flavors this kind of salad can have. Spagetti Metaballs, Quattro al Forno, Penne San Remo for dinner. Meatballs sizable (but if serving 3 they could be more generous w/ spaghetti sauce). Same w/ Quattro, which should be named Tre al Forno cause have yet to order where they're not out of one or more of the pastas- it needed more sauce also as areas of pasta was dry crusty. Minor gripes as all 3 dishes had good flavor, generous portions, nice presentation. Bucca is seriously over-priced, especially for pasta, but if you dine-in, use a coupon, order a variety of dishes (as we did) you will have a splurge of a meal plenty of leftovers for a couple of days. For a chain, well done!"

I began with the Chopped Antipasti Salad, which is the best Italian-style salad I've had in years! The mixed greens were generously dressed in a tangy vinaigrette, yet remained nice and crisp.

There isn't one of these locations near my home, so whenever I'm in this area, I make it a point to dine here. I absolutely adore the quirky decor and the cozy, maze-like ambiance of this place.

This is a lovely restaurant that's perfect for larger groups looking to enjoy a more intimate dining experience. The food is excellent, and the service is commendable. For dinner, expect to pay between $50 and $100 per person. Overall, I'd rate the food 4 out of 5, the service 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a strong 5 out of 5. View menu

I recently dined at a restaurant with exceptional food and a charming server, Ron. From the moment we were seated, our server greeted us warmly and provided attentive service throughout the meal. "Although the food and our server were excellent my overall first impression of Mimmo’s is just okay. My mother in law wanted to come here for Mother’s Day so I went ahead and made a reservation. They didn’t advertise a limited menu for Mother’s Day so we were upset they didn’t have anything we actually wanted to order. We wanted the crab and artichoke dip to start and it wasn’t on the menu. We wanted the Chicken Toscana, my teenage nephew and niece had a hard time picking out meals because we also came to order pizzas which were not offered! My mother in law ordered the stuffed shrimp scampi and she said it came out cold after it took a long time for our food to come out. By the time her food was remade our table was done eating and she was the one we were celebrating!! Our reservation was at 2:30p and when we arrived no one was in the foyer to greet us. From there the server was great but the food service was slow. I understand it was Mother’s Day and expected to be busy but we waited so long for a limited pasta menu just to have one of our meals come out cold. At 2:30p it seemed like a Friday night would be more chaotic as it didnt seem too chaotic in the afternoon, just filled with people all waiting for food. It seemed as though they were ill prepared for Mother’s Day. I’m disappointed there wasn’t a manager that came around to greet tables. I’m also upset they didnt comp my MILs meal since she did t get to enjoy. I thought the food was good once it finally came out but I would just rather go to like a chain restaurant such as Texas Roadhouse or even Buca di Beppo they know how to pump out the food quick, provide service on busy holidays and it’s always consistent and good. I’m sorry mom and pop restaurant, we tried you for Mother’s Day and it just wasn’t a great 1st impression for me. I’d love to come back for a lunch on the patio with less pressure to please my mother in law! The drink I had was delicious and I’m still curious to try the pizza!"

"This place was such a disappointment. I ordered the Chesapeake crabcake sandwich that came with coleslaw and french fries. My guest ordered the fish and chips. The fish and chips were pretty good and the crab on my dish was really tasty as well. However, the bun, the lettuce and the tomato that accompanied the dish was just a little too large to go with such delicate crab meat. Another terrible thing about this place unfortunately, is the staff. We had a waitress that was really inattentive and rude. I ordered one beverage and on the menu it said that it had fresh lime juice in it. However, it did not have fresh lime juice. They put roses in it and they overdid it. I informed the waitress that I wasn 't impressed so I sent it back. I ordered another and they muddled the cherries in the bottom of the beverage, which is a big no-no. I also sent that one back. The waitress told us that they are a pooled-house which means waitresses and waiters are supposed to work together meaning that they all can help each table when individual guests need assistance. I think this was her way of saying, why don 't you talk to somebody else. One thing that also really makes this restaurant different than others is that when a customer is unsatisfied with a certain part of a meal or drinks, service or staff, the management should come over to the table and make sure that everything is OK and say, we would love to have you back again, and make sure that your experience is better than this one. So, please don 't allow this first visit to be a reflection upon the rest of our service and commitment to our guests. So I will say this, we will never come back here again."
