"This is the absolute best place for BBQ! It has a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere. Our server, Laura, was amazing—so friendly and efficient, especially considering she was the only server that night. You would never have guessed it because the service was prompt and our food was incredible."

We ordered ribeye steak dinners, and they were cooked to perfection. Along with the steaks, we enjoyed a dinner salad and French fries—plenty of food! We even had dessert afterward. The total bill, including tip, came to $53.00, and it was worth every penny!

"Last week on our way to Grand Teton National Park, this place was really good! Food was fabulous, service was good — again good, but not great. So when we finished at the Grand Tetons this morning and were driving through this way again, we decided to stop in for another Thai dinner. We were the 2nd table to be seated after arriving at 5:04pm. We were originally seated right at the front door where the building across the street was shining the sun’s reflection into my husband’s eyes. So he asked to have another table (only one other table was still being used at the time). We were told told yes, so we moved to a table nearer the kitchen. Then we were totally ignored while several other tables began to fill up and were served waters and had their their drink orders and even their dinner orders taken. We had to stop someone to simply ask for waters. We sat patiently for quite some time waiting to be greeted, asked for our drink order and to order our dinner. It became obvious to us that we were being ignored on purpose for simply asking for a different table from where the building reflection wouldn’t be blinding my husband. So, after being ignored a good 15 minutes, we got up to leave. One server looked at us as we began to walk away from our table. I told her quietly that we were leaving because no one had come to help us (even though we were the 2nd group to arrive and 5 other tables had already placed their dinner orders). She had nothing to say to us and didn’t seem concerned about our mistreatment what so ever. I don’t care how good your food is, if you are rude to customers; especially rude on purpose — we will not stay to be mistreated. I highly recommend that you bypass this place while going through Rawlins. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other"

"we stopped here as an incentive to look at the moment while we visited wyoming. I can't explain how much we enjoyed this place. sonika was our waitress and from the moment we were there, she was amazing, great company and very on the dinge, even when she was busy. the owners, stephanie and josh were present all the time and worked so hard to move everything smoothly. they are all so personal and really working to ensure that everyone who comes feels like family. eating was impeccable, the personal was absolutely amazing. as an entrepreneur myself, I can't do enough about the service and personality of this place rave. I can honestly say I will make extra trips to wyoming just to visit this small city bar / pizza place. they earn and work for every oz of business they get. they will not be disappointed by this place, I cannot recommend it enough. If there were 10 stars, I would give them 20!"

"What a delightful surprise! This steakhouse, which operates at night, serves Asian fusion dishes for lunch. We discovered this gem thanks to a local recommendation. While the service was a bit slow, the food definitely made the wait worthwhile. We stopped here on our way to our overnight stay and were concerned that the delay might affect our arrival time. As a suggestion, they could improve the speed of welcoming guests! I ordered the seafood pasta (I know I’m in beef country, but I had a bit of a drive) and it was light and delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and once our service began, it was quite prompt. This is definitely a great spot to visit in Rawlins. Just remember, the town has a population of about 8,200, so adjust your expectations accordingly! Food: 5, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 4."

"That was the worst experience I 've ever had at a restaurant. From putting oranges in the iced tea, to $8 salad that contained about a cup of lettuce max, forgetting one of our orders, our french dip came out a philly cheese steak with au jous (what? Then they fixed the french dip by literally scraping the cheese and onions off, spilling the au jous all over the onion rings and giving it back. Absolutely pathetic. "As stated in previous reviews, Don’t look for a sign that says Cactus Jacks, you won’t find it. However there isn’t much around the area to mistake it for anything else. Nice quite western style restaurant. Server was helpful and on point. Food was good and filling! Understanding this is Rawlins, Wyoming makes it easier to understand why places are rated so highly. I didn’t visit the bar side of the restaurant, however they from talking to locals in the town. Drinking is about the only thing to do in this town. So as long as the drinks stay full, I have no doubt it’s a nice place to be based off of the restaurant side."
