Terrible service! More like no service at all. My over-easy eggs were actually overcooked, and the hash browns were raw. When I brought it up to the woman at the checkout, she and her colleagues started making snide remarks in Spanish. I won’t be coming back again.

Took my kids here for lunch after school, they are picky eaters when it comes to taste and flavores but WOW my kids enjoyed all there meals and so have I . The food is quite average, but the service is excellent. The only downside was the flatware, which might sound strange, but it felt cheap, flimsy, and small—like something you'd find at a budget wedding buffet. Overall, I’d say Capitola Diner offers an average experience. Also, the country potatoes were quite bland and soggy, so I'd recommend opting for the hash browns instead.
