"The catfish is consistently well-seasoned, served hot, and incredibly tasty. For me, that's what truly matters at a restaurant called Catfish House. However, there are some downsides. In a four-piece combo, there tends to be one smaller fillet, which can be disappointing. On another occasion, the fries served were clearly old and had been fried again; they were quite unappetizing. Additionally, I must mention that the dining area leaves much to be desired—there are many items on the walls covered in layers of dust and spider webs, which is quite off-putting. Nonetheless, as I mentioned earlier, the fried catfish is definitely the highlight, so I recommend ordering it to-go and enjoying it in the comfort of your own home."

Catfish House's food is always great. My husband loves the grilled options I loves those but also love their Poboys, fried fish and shrimp baskets and the soft shell crab.

This is my favorite fish place in carrollton. I usually buy the fried catfish but I discovered that their grilled fish is tastier healthier. It actually doesn't matter what you order because it is served fresh of the fryer. The restaurant's atmosphere is clean and relaxing. I'll definitely be back

Wow! This is undoubtedly the best catfish in town! My husband had the best fried green tomatoes he’s ever tasted! The hush puppies were the best I’ve had in ages. I’m really impressed by the variety on the menu; it feels like everything is made from family recipes! I’ve already called my family who live out of state to tell them where we’re taking them for their first dinner here!

I haven't enjoyed a meal this good in a long time. The grilled catfish was perfectly seasoned, and the vegetables were just as well-prepared. The fried green tomatoes were the best I've ever had—truly delicious! The staff was friendly and courteous, and the dining area was immaculate. I had the best catfish I’ve had in a long time! My friend ordered the catfish, while I chose the shrimp gumbo, which was a recommendation from the staff. Both dishes were fantastic and refreshingly not drenched in sauces. I also really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. True to its Cajun theme, they had a great selection of hot sauces, which I arranged in a photo from my favorite to least favorite. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place, especially if you're a catfish lover like my friend!

Peanut oil, which is known for being healthy for cooking and frying, was used in the dishes. Some people believe that this affects the taste, but I think the use of peanut oil enhances the aroma and adds a delightful crispness to the food. I would rate Catfish House nothing less than 5 stars and would give them even more if I could, as the food was truly fantastic for me.
