"I used to eat here often, but not anymore after a disappointing experience. I suspect the cakes on display are not made in-house. Typically, they are quite good. I tried a buttermilk cake one evening and took a bite, only to be met with a mix of unpleasant flavors - allspice, cinnamon - nothing like a buttermilk cake should be. This was a problem for me as I am allergic to cinnamon. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they brushed me off and refused to take any responsibility. No refund, no apology. It's concerning that they are not transparent about where their baked goods come from, especially considering the potential risks for those with allergies. Overall, a disappointing and frustrating experience."

wow! I can't say enough about the CHAPPS camp site on arkansas, dee and her personal! we ordered a large group dinner for 75 people. every burger was adapted and chapps got every burger right. they were delicious, with the name of each person bagd, including seasoned to make her lunch perfect. burgers were delicious and all were happy! we will definitely use them again for our school! this is a real young man!

It?s above average in pricing compared to other burger places but the value is definitely still there. The half pound beef patties have a lot of flavor! Other places with a similar size patty is either over cooked and dry or doesn?t really taste like much. Chapps seasons that beef perfectly and they cook it just right! The fries I normally get are the Cajun fries. There?s just not too many out there that can keep up with this place! View menu

DO NOT EAT HERE. There was a roach in my burger and when I brought it up, the old Asian woman cashier snatched it out of my hands and accused me of putting it in there. I was made to wait 20 minutes on what I thought was my refund so I could leave but instead she remade it and said she would not refund me. I threw away the meal as I was too disgusted and I left. She beyond rude and has zero customer service skills. It’s a franchised mom and pop shop so their business won’t last long with that attitude, maybe then they will learn how to treat paying guests.

When someone insists that you try a restaurant what should you do? You try the restaurant. This restaurant is located in a shopping center just off Highway 360 and is easily accessible. The warm welcome at the counter was a bit cold, the restaurant was clean and the experience was just ok. The Marinated Grilled Chicken Breast with grilled onions was tasty, the sweet potato fries not so much. The Turkey Burger ? not a fan. The highlight of this experience was the friendly delivery of the food by the kind gentleman. That was much appreciated. I tried this restaurant simply because someone asked me to.

"Affordable large helpings. Decent coffee. Family owned run.Skillet used to be in an old diner on the corner of Bowen Division. Definitely needed upgrades. Service was good, wait staff friendly. Weekends would be PACKED. Like line out the door. Also had an early morning group of people that would be there at 5 am and eat drink coffee for a couple of hours. Kind of place you liked because it was comfortable, but you wished it looked better.Fast forward to their new location up the street. Used to be an Italian restaurant definitely not what Skillet "feels "like. A much bigger restaurant, same menu. They open at 5 and serve comfort food basically. The servings are always huge and most of the time the food is good. I usually ask for my bacon to be extra crispy, but not burned. I have gotten every thing from still oinking to flat out burned. The cook knows he 's either putting semi raw or totally burned bacon on my plate and the waitresses can see what he puts on my plate not acceptable at all. Most of the time it 's fine. If you like firm scrambled eggs, tell them you want a hard scramble, but not brown. They do well on the over medium fried eggs most of the time (far better than Crackerbarrel). I don 't recommend the pancakes or waffles too dense not a good flavor. Omelets are massive!I usually eat breakfast there, so I have not tried any lunch items, except the BLT, which is good.Bottom line decent comfort food, reasonable prices, large portions.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair/handicap accessible."
