"I hadn't eaten at China King in years because my last experience was quite disappointing. However, tonight we didn’t feel like driving to Mount Pleasant for the best Chinese cuisine at China Garden, so we decided to give China King another chance, hoping it would be better this time. Unfortunately, it turned out to be possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The crab rangoons barely had any filling and their taste was off. The sweet and sour chicken and the orange chicken were both dry, tough, and stringy. I was extremely dissatisfied and felt like it was a waste of money. Personally, I would like a refund. I definitely won’t be returning."

I was disappointed to find that they use chicken gizzards in their General Tso's Chicken meal. Given the prices they charge for their dishes, I would expect a better quality cut of meat. I definitely won't be returning. View menu

What a fantastic restaurant with amazing staff! I'm keeping everyone impacted by the fire in my thoughts. I sincerely hope that China King will reopen one day. It truly is the best Chinese restaurant in Clare and the nearby region.

Love this place for Chinese Take Out in Clare, Michigan. We've ordered dozens of times over the years and the food is always fresh, delicious, and made to order without the nasty MSG. We adore the Vegetarian options with Vegetable Lo Mein Fried Rice.

I used to absolutely love this place and would drive from another town just to eat here. Recently, however, they've been messing up my orders, the prices keep increasing, and now the portions are getting smaller. It's disheartening to leave after being a loyal customer since they opened. View menu

The service is friendly, and the food is incredible! This is definitely the best takeout Chinese restaurant in the area! The Pork Mushrooms are consistently fantastic! The portions are generous, and there are plenty of choices on the menu. We usually order a lot and share everything family-style, and there's always more than enough for everyone.

I've only eaten there a few times. The first meal was mediocre. The 2nd time is was delicious. The 3rd time (last night), it was the typical, cheap thing that alot of places do- mixing old food with some fresh cooked food. The shrimp tasted old and completely over cooked as with the sweet and sour chicken. Old, dried out, chewy chicken along w freshly fried pieces. When will places learn NOT to do that!!!
