"Our server was unattentive and forgetful. We never received water refills, and he was very slow. When we looked around to see where he was, he was at the bar chatting with another employee on separate occasions. The food was good except for the guacamole and tortilla soup. The guacamole was brown, as if it were made with old avocados or had been made much earlier in the day. I guess they are unaware of the trick of leaving the pit in the prepared guac to keep it from turning brown. The tortilla soup was lacking overall. It was watery and overly spiced. But the spice wasn't flavorful, it was just peppery with no depth. The tacos, queso, elotes, and margaritas were pretty good, and the saving grace for this review"

The tacos were good but wish we had more of a Mexican variety. Server was nice. Decor was cute. I am guessing they get more of a bar crowd

We all really enjoyed the tacos! From the duck, sweet potato and brisket, they were all unique and amazing. The prickly pear margarita were excellent! View menu

The food was mediocre! Service was bad, slow and establishment could use some updating. Lots of other choice for Mexican food. Find another place to eat

Great guacamole and pretty good tacos. We enjoyed the butternut squash and carne guisada tacos. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but would pop in for lunch if I was close by

The food was fantastic! We enjoyed every single thing that we ordered. The cocktails were good too, and we appreciated their wine list. A lot of Tex Mex or casual restaurants tend to fail in the wine department View menu

Appetizers were great, but downhill from there. Waited a very long time for our food, poor overall service. They did comp some of our food because the wait was so long, but by the time we got the food it was luke warm, the beef was very dry, and average at best

Our experience was less than satisfactory. Though we had a large party, the waiter continually had to be asked to take orders, remember drinks, etc. When we would remind him of forgotten drink, he would say “well someone else must’ve drank it,” and not bring another? At the end, we were still being spoken down to, and after we finally received checks, their house margarita was charged more per receipt, and did not match menu pricing. When we pointed this out, he snarkily said “well you are lucky I didn’t auto add gratuity like I could have.” ???? We left anyway, and did not appreciate the continued attitude for no reason

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
