"Has anyone else experienced throat swelling from MSG in Chinese food? It hit me about 8 hours after I ate. In the middle of the night, I felt like my throat was closing up, and it was hard to breathe. It was a very scary experience. Even 24 hours later, I still feel a lump in my throat. I ordered from Chopsticks near Grant Park, and they seem to use a lot of MSG—be careful. I've had Chinese food many times before without any issues. I've been taking ibuprofen all day to help with the swelling. Next time, I will definitely ask for no MSG, but it’s frustrating because I've never had a problem anywhere else. After eating only a third of my meal, I had a close call with a medical emergency. Thankfully, my son hadn’t touched his food, and we ended up throwing it away. It was a waste of money, but it was better than risking a trip to the hospital."

Food piping, hot as if it was microwaved. And very steamy. I think it was microwaved. Absolutely no flavor.

The woman at the front desk had a poor attitude. We spent over $100, and when we asked her for a napkin, she seemed irritated and threw it on the ground in front of us. It felt like we were bothering her while she was busy watching something on her iPad. There were no other customers around at the time, and she was just sitting on the couch, completely ignoring us.

The waitress made sure to put on gloves to take my money as if I had the Ebola virus you can just feel she was totally disgusted by my presence and didn’t even hand my food placed it on the counter to be sure she didn’t touch me why even sell to the public if you’re so worried about diseases is my question?? She made my food taste horrible before I even opened the bag frfr View menu

This dinner has been in the neighborhood for a while now has had lots changes trhu time but unfortunately as a today their menu dishes are inconsistent , as an example i order a chow mien noodles vegetables they where overcooked but also order a pork potstickers pan fried they were perfect!.... I will continue to supported them but like I said theres a few dishes I can really recommend.

This is the best Chinese food I've ever tasted! I ordered the large shrimp with shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg rolls, along with some extra veggies on the side. The food was delivered hot, which is a big plus. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, just how I like them, and the jumbo egg rolls were absolutely delicious—I really enjoyed every bite. I'm very satisfied, and it was definitely worth the money I spent. Great job! Keep it up; I will be ordering more often.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
