"A hidden gem, we stopped for lunch in a Wednesday and it was pretty busy. We got seated at an outside table where there was a nice view of the intercoastal and a pleasant breeze. Our server, Veronica, recommended the scooby treats and we ordered a bottle of albarino off their discounted wine list. The wine was excellent and went well with the delicious crab claws, they were so good my wife and I only got to eat one or two because my son devoured them while the other child gobbled up all the bread after dipping it in the crab butter. My wife and I both got the soft shell crab sandwich and we were delighted with how crunchy the batter was while the interior was soft and luscious. Probably the best soft shell crab I've had in many years! The kids shared the Coconut shrimp plate which was 7 extra large shrimp and we got 2 Mac and cheeses as the sides. The shrimp were very tasty, a nice and crunchy coconut batter covered the juicy shrimp magnifying the natural sweetness of the shrimp. Overall the food was really good, pleasantly surprised to find such good seafood a stone's throw away from all the tourist traps. And our server was what put it over the top. She was very attentive and full good recommendations, she also let us know they do tarpon feedings (unfortunately the fish weren't biting today but the kids did try). Truly a great experience, definitely worth a visit!"

For a true Ft Lauderdale Beach Experience, you can't go wrong with Coconuts. Great views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Good Food. Fair Prices.

This is an excellent spot to visit. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable! I live in South Florida, and this is our go-to place. It's lovely situated by the water.

Service: The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. Atmosphere: I recommend sitting outside to take in the view. I did think that some background music would have added to the ambiance. Overall, it’s a good spot to consider if you’re in the area and looking for a beachside dining experience. View menu

We loved coconuts. It’s pretty busy all of the time. They have parking and both indoor/outdoor seating off of the water. With the sun and very little cover, some of those seats are unbearable so choose wisely. The quality of seafood and the portions were a blast. Not to mention the well crafted cocktails they offer. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

Manager does not belong in this type of business. He is rude and does not conduct himself cordially. Food was very bland. $14 for a small plate of veggies that was just thrown together and had no presentation. The fish dip was spoiled and the best thing about the lobster roll was the crisp toasted bread. The owner needs to change MANAGEMENT. I DO NOT AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!

I absolutely love this place! The view is stunning, and they even offer complimentary valet parking. I stopped by for a late lunch and tried the oysters and coconut shrimp, which came with a side of mac and cheese. I also had the blackened salmon served with pigeon peas and rice. PAUL was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu—he deserves a raise! Plus, the half-off wine bottles on Tuesdays are unbeatable. View menu

I do have a couple of minor complaints: all the mixed drinks (over five different ones from the bar) arrived with sticky glasses, which we suspected was just a result of a careless bartender. Additionally, they skip the traditional happy birthday song but do provide a candle if you decide to order dessert. Overall, we had a lovely evening on the patio, which was pleasantly warmed by four torch heaters. We're looking forward to our next visit!

If you are looking for basic seafood with a little twist and a great view this is your place. First and foremost eat the crab claws if they are in season. They are in season right now (Nov. . Also note that bottles of wine are half price on Tuesdays! We also shared a potato encrusted red snapper and a bbq/cajun shrimp with rice. Both main dishes were great, except the shrimp was slightly over cooked. The sauce on the shrimp had a good kick to it as well. We finished the meal with the signature dessert coconut pie! It wasn't the best version we've ever had but it was a nice ending. The restaurant sits overlooking a marina with boats coming and going. Service was nice.
