"Me and two of my friends decided to check out a new restaurant in Charlotte, NC. When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted with a big smile and we loved the ambience of Community Matters Cafe. The menu was concise and simple with both Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch options.I ordered the hot Cinnamon Bun Mocha and it was delicious! The cream on top was so good and it felt like I was having a dessert beverage. For Lunch I ordered the New Orleans Fried Chicken Sandwich with cheddar grits. I loved the cheesy grits and it was yummy. The chicken sandwich wasn’t too spicy and it was straight fire!Overall, it was delicious and I totally recommend this restaurant if you are in the Uptown area of Charlotte, NC!"

Love this place! Went for the first time today and not only was the staff great but the food was delicious!! All of our meals were so good and the coffee was as well. Our waiters and the rest of the staff were so kind, one man even brought a bowl of blueberries for my 1 year old : . Can’t wait to go back! View menu

Great food, amazing staff, large and comfortable space. I loved the prosperi-Tea . It’s their take on a medicine ball but it’s so much better. Great cafe to come and hang out or have a small meeting.Large (free) parking lot. Can’t wait to come back when it’s a little warmer and take advantage of the outdoor patio seating.

This place truly serves excellent coffee. While you can find meals of similar quality at other comparable restaurants for the same price or even less, the outstanding quality of their coffee keeps me returning to spend that extra dollar. The friendly service is also a big plus, making this a perfect spot for a relaxing time.

This charming neighborhood café stands out for its mission. The staff is friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I absolutely love the decor, too! There are plenty of tables and chairs available for those who want to work, and there’s ample parking. I’ve sampled their chai lattes and muffins, and they are fantastic, especially when served warm in the morning. It’s a bustling place, which is great to see even at 7:30 am. I highly recommend giving it a try! View menu

One of the best coffee shops in town and one of the best ways to help folks who are getting their life back together and learning work skills and be a part of once again as they are restored to sanity and back to a part of life once again. The Honey bee latte is incredible, and the food is tasty—an excellent opportunity for everyone to participate. There is even an event space that can comfortably fit about thirty folks for a meeting or seminar. William is the manager and is very knowledgeable and helpful on managing the event space. Hope is restored here!

The atmosphere is amazing, and the restaurant is very clean. The coffee was also quite good. My only issue was with the staff, as they were somewhat rude. When I entered, I had an awkward interaction with a man at the host stand who didn't greet me or say anything at all. I tried to be friendly and said, "Hi, how are you?" but he responded in a somewhat rude manner, asking, "What?" It was an uncomfortable moment. Additionally, when I ordered my coffee, I politely requested a mug instead of a plastic cup, but the girl who assisted me had an attitude while grabbing it for me.

"My friends and I were enjoying a beautiful night in South End and one of them had found this place online. So we stopped by for a drink. Wow! Gorgeous place! The interior design gave me the warm, welcoming feeling of being at The Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville SC- upscale, but unpretentious, inviting, and fun. We were immediately welcomed by the bartenders who talked to us about their different beers and kombuchas. We ordered a couple of flights to sample as many as we could and sat down to play Jenga in one of their many seating areas. Our spot was 2 old leather couches flanking a gorgeous wooden coffee table. So relaxing and sociable. I’ve never been in a brew pub with so much greenery (ferns and other foliage adorn and drape from the rafters filling corners and crannies around the room), natural wood, and light! Another great feature was a floor-to-ceiling wall cabinet filled with really cool things. The beers were unique and fun to try. The vibe is worth the visit even if you don’t love beer. I enjoyed a glass of prosecco and loved learning about and sampling the other beverages. They also have a great outdoor space for gathering where dogs are welcome. My sense is this place was designed for building community, which is something we all need more of. Turn off your cellphones and come here to meet people, pet dogs, and enjoy a great experience!"
