"This is, without a doubt, the best BBQ I’ve ever had! The pulled pork and mac and cheese sandwich was amazing, and the giant potato wedges were a great addition. I ordered to-go since I live just down the street, and I decided to pair my meal with a hard cider, which turned out to be a fantastic combination. That said, everyone needs to come and give Lenny's a try. Lenny, this is the best BBQ I’ve enjoyed in a long time, and I will definitely be returning for more!"

Earlier this week, my husband and I went to Lenny's Smoke House with some close friends to celebrate my birthday. We had a gift certificate that was about to expire, so we decided to use it. View menu

EDIT: I finally got to visit, and it was probably the best BBQ I've had in California—absolutely incredible! I really regret how stuffed I feel now. The white chocolate cheesecake was also amazing!

Delicious food and excellent service make Lenny's BBQ a hidden gem worth seeking out. I discovered it through a friend’s recommendation and decided to give it a try. My waitress, Desirae, provided fantastic suggestions for what to order. The burger I had was outstanding. I eagerly anticipate my next visit!

Good food and good service. Lenny's BBQ is a gem that is hidden but if you go out of your way to eat there you will be rewarded. I heard about it from a friend so I decided to check it out. Desirae was my waitress and made excellentrecommendations on what to order. The burger was excellent. I look forward to eating there again. View menu

Second time I've gone out of my way to come here, and they're closed when they're not supposed to be. Now I'm starving and out in the boonies. Not wasting my time or gas a third time. EDIT: OMG, I finally was able to go, and it was probably the best BBQI've had in California. My Lord. I'm in pain from how FULL I am right now. The white chocolate cheesecake was soooo good too!!!

This is by far the best bbq I've had, the pulled pork and mac and cheese sandwich are to die for, not to mention the gigantic potato wedges. I ordered to go beacuse I live just up the road and i decided to pair this with a hard cider and let me tell youwhat it makes a fantastic combination, but I digress. Everyone needs to come and try some of lennys food. Lenny this is thebest bbq I've had in a long time, I will definitely be back for more.

"First, I want to say this review is LONG overdue. Second, I want to say that a few years ago, I realized that eating beef or pork typically causes me severe intestinal distress, so I very rarely eat either. And lastly, it?s imperative to say that I am perhaps the pickiest eater on the planet. My adult sons tell me my food palate is that of a toddler ? I won?t eat, or even try most foods, including eggs, seafood, fish, or foods that look weird or have mushy textures (like mushrooms or tofu), in addition to a litany of other foods, so if I write a positive food review, rest assured, the restaurant, and food, was phenomenal. Months ago, I was invited to Los Angeles, with my friend of more than thirty years, Martha. On our first evening, we went to eat at Buenos Aires Grill with her aunt, uncle, mom, and cousins ? in total, we were a party of seven. All of the food ordered was shared, family style. Since I had heard so much about the restaurant, I knew I wanted to try everything ? and clearly, I (almost) did. Since Martha had eaten there before, and she knows my likes and dislikes, I requested she place the order on my behalf. We started with the empanadas. OH, MY GAWD? THESE empanadas are the ABSOLUTE BEST I have EVER eaten ? EVER? E.V.E.R. and I have lived in Cuba, México, and Spain? The empanadas are sheer PERFECTION? they APPEAR to be fake ? they are absolutely flawlessly shaped and baked? their crust is neither too thin nor too thick. The filling was drool inducing and I, honestly, genuinely, doubted the taste could be improved, but once I topped the empanada with the chimichurri, if I would have died, in that moment, I would have rested in peace as the happiest human on Earth. She also ordered both the Quesos Fundido and Provoleta and the Chimichurri and (French) Bread (baguette) ? I LOVE CHEESE, and French bread, but, once again, I am PICKY ? and skeptical of new foods. Both the cheeses caused my salivary glands to go into elated overdrive. The union of cheese, chimichurri, and the baguette? TO DIE FOR. I don?t know if Martha ordered the Manolo or Buenos Aires Parrilla, but I ate a bite, or two, of each and every single one of the elements. Despite having lived in Texas since 1990, and as an individual who has eaten countless steaks, ribs, sausages, and chorizo, I have never eaten more deliciously seasoned, epically prepared, and perfectly grilled bites of beef and pork. In addition to the meat, the parrillas were accompanied by mashed potatoes, French fries, Spanish rice, and sautéed vegetables. HOLY MOLY ? each side was mouthwatering, scrumptious, delightful. Fearing I would not want to eat the meat, based on the aforementioned explanation, Martha also ordered the Spinach Cheese Ravioli and the Chicken Alfredo? I have eaten A LOT of pasta dishes in my day? I was raised to believe I was 50% Italian (thanks to 23andMe, I now know that is false). In any case, I?m confident t"

"It hurts to say, but this was the most REGRETTABLE food experiences I 've had. My family is against letting food go to waste if no one wants it, at least let our dog or cats have it but we ended up throwing out all the sides to the trash. Sometimes food is okay, could 've been better or just not your cup of tea, but this was downright horrendous and a waste of nearly $85. Just go to Popeye 's instead. I 'm not sure who I 'm more disappointed with: those who prepared the food or everyone that 's been giving this place four and five star reviews. We got fried chicken, shrimp jambalaya, chicken creole, chicken sandwiches, and sides (potato salad, toast, yams, greens, and clam chowder). I enjoy trying new cuisines here in the Valley, but I will not ever come back here even if the food was on the house and here 's why. First of all, we waited inside nearly 40 minutes for our food. While you look around at the Mardi Gras beads on the chairs and decorations on the shelves, t 's hard to not notice the stained floors. The linoleum has probably been like that for a long time, despite how many times they mop, but it certainly makes you wonder what condition the kitchen is in. So what right I thought. A lot of buildings in the valley haven 't been renovated for decades. Plus, its expensive and restaurants have overhead and staff to pay. At the end of the day we came for the food right? Now, the food itself was horrible. If I could describe it with a meme, it 'd be the middle aged white guy saying You 're not that guy pal. Trust me, you 're not that guy. My mom described the fried chicken as lacking seasoning, smelling funky, and tasting like it was fried in oil that had not been changed in a long time. My sister, who had a fried chicken sandwich, also said it tasted like old oil instead of the spicy Creole seasoning it is described as. My brother and I had the Chicken creole and shrimp jambalaya, respectively. It was reminiscent of middle school forcing myself to eat the cafeteria food cause I forgot my lunch at home. Worst of all were the sides (seen in the pictures above). The potato salad? Tasted like mayonnaise flavored whipped cream. The clam chowder? Gerber with specks of clam. The yams? Mush in a light watery cinnamon and sugar syrup. The greens? Salty, bitter, with the stems still on. Even the toast was bad: it tasted like the crumbs at the bottom of the toaster that haven 't been tossed out in a week. We were gonna get mac n cheese instead of yams, but our server said it was not great today, so if this was the best they had to offer....yikes. For a soul food restaurant, the food here has no soul. At best, its mediocre. At worst, just don 't come here in the first place. The food did not taste fresh and lacked flavor. For as long as we waited, you would expect the line to be out the door but it wasn 't. Seriously, waste of time and money."
