"We went there for the first time and had a terrible experience. First of all, a horrible smell of urine/sewer. We tried to understand if we were close to the restroom or something, but then we found actually that adjacent to our table there were two burst pipes and a drain. Our party was big, so we couldn’t change. We tried to relieve the situation and make the best of it. But then, the food "

Love the food. Love the staff. Something feels a bit dated about the atmosphere. But the food is worth it :

This is one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The food is extremely authentic and not Americanized at all. It’s incredibly delicious and absolutely to die for! I highly recommend it!

The food here is good. The music, right now at least, is good. They're playing reggae covers of different songs, just heard Ironic. The salsa a la huancaina is a bit different from what I'm used to, but still good. The server was great too.

The Peruvian salad had TOUGH (grayish? braising greens not lettuce or salad greens. Not a pleasant combination. Lackluster ingredients looked sad. Despite plenty of open seating, we were squeezed into seats only skinny people could get into. Would not return. View menu

The best thing I ordered was the ceviche clásico. I was not too fond of the tamale as it was lacking the authentic flavor I was looking for. They sold out of the salmon and gave me mahi mahi instead which was still delicious. A live guitarist came, outdoor patio has a great atmosphere. I will consider coming back to try something new!

The ceviche is actually really really fresh (besides really good) and I know it’s fresh because I asked for no spicy and they did it ! You can find on this plate every element of an authentic Peruvian ceviche. The quinoa salad with mahi mahi fish is very tasteful and a fair quantity as well ! FYI it looked so good that we tried the food before taking photos
