"I was told there would be a 20-minute wait, but after waiting for 30 minutes, I checked on our status in line and was informed that there were three parties ahead of us. To my surprise, they then called in six additional parties before us, prompting us to leave. As we walked out, we noticed there were plenty of empty tables available. It was frustrating to see them seating solo diners before families like ours. All I ask for is transparency regarding the wait times and the number of parties ahead of us. I felt misled and frustrated. Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Other."

Super mid. Didn't like it. Also I'm a vegan which is low key a personal problem. I didn't need to be vegan, but here I am, a vegan. Anyways, so if you're vegan go elsewhere. There's only 3 things to get, none were grand. Not filling.

"The food was acceptable but nothing special. For takeout, the service was fairly average. Pricing is quite affordable, ranging from $1 to $10 per person. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5, the service a 2, and the atmosphere also a 2."

I had to wait 10 minutes for a table, which was not bad at all. The restaurant practices social distancing and disinfects tables after each use. The employees wear masks, which I appreciated. I ordered the fried fish, which was delicious, and the hush puppies and cookies were also excellent. My waitress was friendly and efficient. View menu

We had a fantastic breakfast with excellent service! We truly enjoyed our meal and didn't encounter any issues. Although I usually prefer the sausage skillet, my companion's sawmill version was also delicious. Despite the restaurant being busy, we had no problem getting seated and placing our order. A five-star experience from start to finish.

I ordered blue berry pancakes and First they didn't give me enough syrup and then I was eatting my pancake and I got to the middle and it was RAW runny and raw then we got them remade and they were even more raw both of them were runny raw and they had to make them a THIRD TIME I hope who ever was working at 11 on April 7th making pancakes gets fired it's a safety hazard for them to serve RAW pancakes terrible food

"We happily frequent Wine Down, but this will probably be one of our last visits. Our last two visits, the service has been less than mediocre and we felt less than appreciated as customers when we left. Tonight, we decided to go early to eat and the restaurant was largely empty. There were two other parties when we walked in and they already had their food. We ordered and the food came quickly. As usual, the food was good, but we have never complained about the food. We had our food for 6 minutes, don’t ask, I just know, and the waitress is asking if we need boxes. I was rather curt and let her know we were still eating. My water glass was empty and I began drinking my wife’s water. Still eating my fries and another waitress takes my plate without asking. “Let me get this plate out of your way.” She then offered to give my wife a to go cup for her soda. Well, that’s a problem as my wife still had a 1/2 hamburger to eat. Seriously? Then, as expected, the check comes….still eating….”No hurry, pay this when you want.” How about let me finish, I may order more food or a drink. You had a half full restaurant. I tipped according to service, and initially felt bad because it was obvious the waitstaff has all been trained to rush, rush, rush. Three different waitresses tonight and all just trying to get us to leave quickly. We won’t be back any time soon."
