"Service: amazing. Our server was 'Vaz ' i believe? He was at the other end of the table and always on the move, but took the time to stop, the day before Thanksgiving, and kind greet each of the 6 of us. And it wasn 't just hi, how are you. It was actual questions where he listened to our responses and followed up with additional questions. He was kind, and very prompt with every request. There was not one thing we asked for that he didn 't do, timely, with a smile. CRACKER BARREL MANAGEMENT: PROMOTE THIS KID TO TEACH OTHERS HOW TO PROPERLY INTERACT WITH THE PUBLIC! I have stopped at this same restaurant in the past, and never had an experience worth my Google review, good or bad. This one....easiest choice. Very pleased."

Thank you, Lauren, for making our Thanksgiving lunch so enjoyable. Even though you were incredibly busy and working on a holiday, you remained polite, thoughtful, and welcoming. Cracker Barrel of Rocky Mount, please recognize this server for her outstanding service.

Sasha at the Cracker Barrel in Rocky Mount, NC, is truly the best server there! She is incredibly hardworking and very attentive. She went above and beyond and definitely earned every penny of her tip, which was well over 20%. Have her serve you, and you'll understand why! Great job, Sasha! View menu

Me and my mom stopped here, on our way back home “Virginia” Finding the place was a little difficult, as it sits on a dead end street. Our waitress was amazing “Anastasia”. The food was DELICIOUS! It came out fast and was hot . My mom had a question about a certain candy. Ms. Rita was very helpful, letting my mom know they didn’t carry it. But she gave a store that did.

As always, Cracker Barrel provides a great meal. The fried chicken is always my go-to entree and my wife got a breakfast entree. The biscuits were hot and fresh out the oven. Really, the biggest reason for this review is because our server was fantastic. I believe his name was Vaz. With the shortage of servers not wanting to work, our server got a $40 tip. He was genuine, prompt, and brought joy to the table. This kid has the personality and work ethic to go far in life and I wish him nothing but the best. Cracker Barrel management should certainly recognize him in some manner. I believe I saw other posts regarding this gentleman. He also wrote a little joke on the back of our meal ticket wh...

"My family and I've been customers there for a while now. The first time there they forgot something on my mom's order. He gave her the missing items they next time she came back. So we thought no problem. We always spend $60+. I always get the #2 family meal for my children that's what they always eat. Last month, I called in and pickup in drive thru. Got home, realized they forgot 2 items from that order. On top of that my food I ordered was cold. I couldn't warm it up because it had sour cream, lettuce, guac and pico on it. I called the manager which is really a nice guy. Complained of the issue. I was told he'd give me 2 large bag of chips and throw in some queso. That was a month ago. Tonight was treat night Mexican of course. I went in instead of drive thru. I mentioned it to the manager about items missing with my last order and he didn't remember saying that and he knows my name. Which I'd think you were suppose notate things like that. However, sadly to say, tonight they lost 7 customers. I order family meal, and three other menu items. I spent $80 tonight only for my daughter to find hair in the burritos under the cheese. I called the manager again expressing my concern and he made it seem like the hair was mine b/c he didn't know how it could've gotten there. He said his cooks wore hats and face mask. I'm a very honest woman I have no need to get over on anyone. Me and my daughter's hair are braided. Ask yourself, a place you always go, food you've craved and spent that kind of money, why would you put straight black hair in it. My children lost their appetite. How would that benefit a hungry household. Oh and the rice had some type of plastic looking thing in it. The pics are attached also. Very upset, hate for them to loose our business but my husband and I motto is 3 strikes, you're out."

"Once seated, we hoped the food wouldn't take as long as it did last time, especially after waiting so long for our reserved table. However, after ordering drinks and food, we waited over an hour and a half for our meals. At that point, it was already 8:30 PM, and we asked if there was any bread available since we hadn't expected to still be without dinner. The waitress informed us they had cornbread for $0.75 each, which felt quite ridiculous after everything else. To make matters worse, the waitress came back to inform us that one of the meals we ordered was unavailable after we had already waited so long. It was baffling that this wasn’t addressed beforehand! Another concerning sign was that everyone around us was still waiting for their food as well, with some visibly frustrated customers even getting up to leave. Our meals finally arrived around 8:50 PM. I had ordered a salad with chicken, and the waitress mentioned it was still being prepared—despite it being just a salad. Twelve minutes later, after the rest of our party had already started eating, my salad finally arrived. What shocked me most was the complete lack of apologies or concern regarding our poor experience. Simple gestures like apologies, good customer service, or even offering bread or appetizers could have made a big difference, but that didn’t happen here. I strongly advise against dining here unless you enjoy poor treatment and waiting over two hours for mediocre food. I did hear from some at the table that the mac and cheese was good, but judging by the other reviews, it seems this was just another typical night for them—where the customer is always wrong!"
