"The best donuts I've had in the Boston area! You can pre-order for takeout, but not on the same day during weekends. We didn't realize this until late, so we ended up paying extra for pickup through GrubHub (each donut costs an additional $0.75). It really frustrates me to pay these markups and service fees, but it was worth it. We tried the Boston Cream, Jelly, Nutella, and Oreo Cookie. The Oreo was good, but it wasn't my favorite. The others were all excellent! They had a nice, soft dough with traditional fillings. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t have that oily, greasy taste that many other donut shops do. Plus, they didn't try to make their donuts overly fancy (looking at you, Blackbird). The donuts are quite large, so a bit more filling would be nice to improve the ratio—after all, it’s all about that balance, right? If only they offered delivery (we're outside the delivery zone, even through GrubHub). I can't wait to try more flavors next time!"

Relax with the cream cheese I don't want an entire tub of Philadelphia cream cheese in between two (flat) bagels. Gross.

Love showing up in the morning, getting the pastrami sandwich donut veggie bagel and being set for the day with absolutely delicious food for about $20.

Stopped in for a bagel sandwich and it was great. It was a lot of good on the bagel and everything was very tasty and a good portion! We also got a chocolate donut to spilt and it was like having a whole dessert for breakfast. Great place to stop in for a quick bagel sandwich!

I decided to stop by this restaurant on a whim since it was nearby and I was feeling hungry. I left with a craving for more! I ordered the lox on an everything bagel, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and quick, which made for a great experience. I can't wait to come back and try the donuts! View menu

These are some of the freshest and best donuts in Boston. They don’t try to do too much. They get it right every time. The chocolate frosted with the chocolate Jimmy’s reminds me of childhood. I ordered 2 via delivery and they were out, so they sent me to free donuts with a cute little note. Very nice. Bagels sandwiches are fire.

I came here with my mother twice over the New Years weekend, both of our breakfast sandwiches were delicious the first time. Day 2 we decided to try the yeast donuts, and let me tell you. These donuts are absolutely amazing. The only warning I'll give anyone is the sea salt bagel is VERY salty, but I cant subtract stars due to my own ignorance.

Four times in a row, I've ordered from here and received a lower quantity of bagels than what I paid for, and they skipped providing me with cream cheese that I ordered too. At this point, this place owes me over $75 for all the stuff I bought that I didn't get. They either have no idea what they're doing or they're intentionally scamming people. I won't be coming back. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4 for problems they should have fixed long ago: sticky tables, no where for the line to wait, poor access to self serve items bc people are piled up everywhere. The food is good which is why they have trouble with the other things. Donuts are quite large, so be prepared to share or have leftovers. Bagels are a typical variety and taste good. Sandwich combinations are also enjoyable.

This is hands down my favorite bagel shop in the Somerville/Cambridge area. They offer great prices for a dozen bagels and a wide range of flavors, most of which are delicious. My only complaint is that they tend to be very popular, so they sometimes run low or even out of certain flavors that I really want. The staff are always friendly and laid-back. They also sell donuts, if I remember correctly, but they're just okay in my opinion. I always opt for the bagels, and I suggest you do the same!

"Great casual fine dining experience in a quiet Cambridge neighborhood.Took a visit here for dinner on a Saturday night. Its casual and rustic interior blended in perfectly with the atmosphere of the neighborhood, and our servers were very welcoming. We were initially planning to do the tasting menu, but the regular a la carte menu seemed too good to miss. We ended up ordering a bunch from their regular menu which turned out to be the right decision. The optional focaccia and rye bread with sweet scallion butter was an excellent start to the meal. From the appetizers, we had the kohlrabi cabbage, country terrine, and the scallop crudo. Topped with a mélange of earthy and floral ingredients, the scallop crudo was my favorite from the appetizers. Each bite was creamy and flavorful yet inexplicably light. Sprinkled with cranberries and spiced seeds, the kohlrabi and cabbage salad was also delightful. I especially loved the spiced seed toppings which added the right amount of nuttiness and crunchy texture.Saffron bigoli with leeks and clam sofrito had a slightly boring flavor profile, but the pappardelle verde with lamb sugo was phenomenal. I’m usually not a fan of mint toppings, but it managed to become a perfect complement to the lamb sugo. Subsequent 3 entrées were also amazing. Japanese-inspired soy marinated cod was perfectly tenderized, and its delicate texture paired well with the carrots and leeks soaked in dashi. Forking a concoction of chimichurri sauce, garlic purée, and grilled spring onion with tender pieces of beef teres major was also very satisfying. We finished off the meal with the carrot cake sundae and the lemon poppyseed cake. The dessert section lacked refined taste, but we still appreciated their effort to put something unique and interesting. Overall, a really enjoyable dinner experience at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back some day to try their tasting menu.Parking: Street parking available on Huron Ave Concord Ave"

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
