"I have been in Fort Stockton for a few weeks now for work and I’ve tried about 8 different restaurants in town. None of them compared to the level of service I received here at Dickies. From the second I walked in I was greeted with smiles from Jasmine and Lexi. I ordered the competition plate because I love Brisket burnt tips and I was not disappointed. This was the best brisket I’ve had in years! The owner personally came out and greeted me. She was very nice and made the place feel like home. I highly recommend eating here since it’s under new ownership. Their rating should be higher than what it is currently (3.7). I think the old owners ratings carried over. Which is totally unfair to the new owner. Seriously, come eat here. You won’t be disappointed!"

My wife and I enjoyed a sandwich each of the pulled pork and this is unlike any other pulled pork in that there were huge hunks of pork not just thin shreds. They stack the sandwiches really high. It was also a choice of six different barbecue sauces we tested to love them both. The cream spinach that we had was also quite good. The two young girls took our order very efficiently and had the food to us before we had a chance to sit down, or so it felt. Nice low-key atmosphere, so if you want good barbecue this is certainly a place where you can get it. Worth the time, two thumbs up.

Went at 7 pm today they were out of almost everything. It was not that busy and they had me there standing there for about 10 minutes waiting to order . They didn’t even acknowledged i was there and said something like be with you shortly or anything. Restrooms were clean but no soap in any all coca cola sodas were not working you can only get water or Powerade also no bbq sauce they said they didn’t have that either. There was a weird negative energy from the guy cutting the meat like if he makes everyone inefficient with his negative energy and rudeness to the older lady cashier. She was sweet , but was left in charge of a sinking ship . It seemed
