"Allegedly the best burger in NYC. red onions aren’t my thing so I did remove them. The lettuce was cold and crisp. Burger was rich and juicy as what you would expect from grass fed beef. Cheese was expertly melted. Bun was soft complimented the ingredients. It doesn’t try and over complicate a burger it just delivers the best ingredients , well seasoned. I had mine medium rare , and I think that’s the correct temperature. If you love hamburgers it’s worth trying , if you find a better one please let me know."

Got the burger, total about $32. Burger was nothing special. I'd give it a 7/10. Fries were good though. View menu

Diner is always on point. Hard to get a reservation but easy if you go early and don't mind sitting at the bar. The menu is pretty simple and to the point.

The atmosphere was enjoyable, and the IPA on draft was excellent. However, the service left much to be desired. While we understand that young waitstaff may want to appear casual, adopting an arrogant attitude is not the right approach. It really detracted from the experience for us as guests.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
