"I stayed at the Hampton Inn on the street looking for a good place to eat. Dixieland matched the bill and had really good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Some have mentioned a waiting, but that seems because they place the food fresh. I loved that when I went to the drive-dru window I drove past the smoker and it smelled amazing. I have the comb plate with sausage, pork, beans and potato salad. The meats were excellent and I prefer the sausage without the intended sauce they put on the side. The potato salad was great, but the beans had slightly heavy onion taste. I'll make this a regular stop for me when I visit my client here."

I grabbed lunch today at a new place in town as I drove by and seen the locals lined around the building in the drive thru and from the front door to the food everything was amazing I will drive out my way next time to come back by for lunch

As a regular customer, I've always enjoyed great service and delicious meals here. I frequently order BBQ or ribs to bring as gifts to friends and family. One of my favorites is their smoked chopped chicken served over a bed of lettuce. They thoughtfully slice fresh vegetables and arrange a decorative egg around the dish, creating a lovely presentation.

Overall, the BBQ was quite good. The sauce had a hint of tomato flavor that I wasn't very fond of, but the brisket was absolutely delicious. The ribs, however, could use some improvement. The sides were pretty basic, and unfortunately, they didn't offer mac and cheese. What a gem! I stumbled upon this tiny spot, which has no indoor seating and only four stationary tables outside. The brisket is cooked to perfection and served in generous portions with BBQ sauce, so if you'd prefer it without the sauce or on the side, make sure to specify when you order. The baked beans come with well-prepared pork for those who enjoy it. The potato salad is a bit too flavorful for my taste, but that wouldn't stop me from ordering it again; I plan to mix it with some beans to balance out the strong flavors. The building is clean, and the surrounding area is well-maintained as well.

It's a bit on the pricey side, but I must say, you definitely get what you pay for. The ribs in the brisket were absolutely delicious and incredibly tender! There was a line wrapped around the building, and we waited about 30 to 45 minutes, but given that it was 5:30 and prime dinner time, the long wait was understandable. It would have been nice if those of us picking up orders could have been served a bit faster. I know there's a new location opening up on the street, so I'm sure things will get better once they're settled into that space. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be returning!
