"decided to try the drachenpalast, as it was directly around the corner and these reviews were stellar. I will be reserved that we have taken the order out, but they have never updated the order so that we thought at the end of the arrival that it was not ready yet. we have orange chicken, Mongolian bark and a fried rice. it was disappointing to say the least. the extra star goes to the orange bun, as it was all white meat and actually was quite good. but the other two courts. the Mongolian bark reminded me of a thinly cut bark mixture that I cannot even explain that it was so soft and drowned in an aqueous oil. we couldn't even make it. the ice-fried rice was not good. I'll make a better roasted rice home. it was so oily and had no taste. so sad, as this is a few blocks away. the orange grove with white rice would be the only dish I can recommend."

The food was delicious. We ordered egg drop soup, Moo Goo Gai Pan and Chicken Fried Rice. Large portions and great service. The prices were very reasonable and the restaurant is really cute inside.

Very close to my apartment. Beef and chicken are fresh and yummy. Would not recommend shrimp. Wonton soup is above average. With this price, they are doing a pretty good job. Would definitely come again. View menu

First and last time to go to this restaurant. Food was not very good. Not sure why others are praising it. Undesirable location and inside was not clean. Price is not cheap and overpriced for quality level of food.

The food here is pretty good, reminds me of east coast style chinese. Cashew chicken, Mongolian beef, and pork fried rice were good quality. My zombie drink was not very good though, I wouldn't get it again. The restaurant interior badly needs a refresh.

Tasty food! We had Yushan beef, orange chicken and cashew chicken, all excellent with large servings. Took it to go, but was very impressed with the decor and would not hesitate to dine in next time, a very nice place! It's a bit hidden back in the corner of a half empty strip mall, so is easy to miss but is definitely worth trying if you appreciate good Chinese food! View menu

what a tasty bite to find this place based on comments from nextdoor. it was good to pass by several other nearby restaurants for big ice-dried supp, chicken mushrooms and bark fried rice. fast service, and it was great that they took the time to pack the chicken mushroom containers that were overflowing but not a chaos! it is a hole in the wall, with an old school red door and all the trappings of a classic Chinese restaurant and I found my new spot!

This place is authentic! I grew up in Los Angeles and downtown China town was a 15 minutes drive. The food is amazing! The last time I had food in downtown China town was over 37 years ago. The soup, appetizers, and the main dishes were so good! We had leftovers that I took them to work. Both my coworkers were amazed at the taste and flavor! That afternoon, I took my Korean coworker/friend to the same restaurant. She also grew up in L.A. County and was pleasantly shocked to eat food that was delicious and authentic! I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant! Please, enjoy!
