"We went to El Cisne for our anniversary dinner on December 30. Our server was also the hostess. The calamari appetizer was terrible, very mushy, but our entrees were very good. We got the scallops and bouillabaisse. Our waitress apparently forgot to get us our flour tortillas and she also forgot to get a soup spoon for my bouillabaisse. We had to flag down another waitress to get us these items. Our waitress was so absent that when we finished, we had to get up and walk to the front of the restaurant to get our check. As this was a holiday week, you's think they'd be prepared for a large crowd. In fact, It seemed they weren't."

I had an excellent experience with the Mexican cuisine here. The dishes are truly authentic Mexican, not Tex-Mex, and there’s a wide variety of sauces and spices available for meat, fish, wings, and vegetarian options. El Cisne has had pretty much consistently good food and service. As usual our meal was very good, but it took quite awhile for our order to come. It was 45 minutes b4 we were served, and the reason was that they had a large take out order to fill??????????? At least they were honest but should have had enough staff to take care of those in the restaurant as well as the take out order. Probably just a fluke, but waiting customers were put behind a takeout order, go figure.

Our group, International Foodies, meets once a month. We have 25 members. We attempt to choose a different restaurant each month. The participants availability changes month to month and not all members attend every month. Your restaurant was recommended by a member who claimed we had attended there in the past but long enough ago that we were encouraged to return. Very happy to say we were all very pleased.
