"Walked in to the restaurant and was immediately greeted, even though they were serving a party of 16. Was provided a menu and a few minutes to look it over, no pressure, ordered the bistec encebollado, and a couple of bean cheese pupusas, as well as the orchata. Everything was served hot, perfectly cooked. The steak was so tender I was able to cut it with a fork. The salsa was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The pupusas were full of beans, cheese, yet not greasy. Not sure why this place only scores a 4.2 but it’s 5 star in my travels and lord knows I’ve been just about everywhere in my lifetime."

It's a Small salvadorian restaurant. It gets crowded, loud music all the time. At the entrance there is a small bar. The food is not that great, it's ok

"The Salvadorian food at this restaurant is fantastic. We ordered a sampler and everything was delicious. We also noticed some enticing seafood bowls that we want to try next time. We will definitely be returning."

This was my first time trying pupusas and I now understand the hype! I returned and tried the crab and shrimp enchiladas, and they were just as delicious. I can see why my sister and brother-in-law love this place. Thank you for the tasty food!

Traveled from Central valley to visit friends and wanted to finish the evening with some popusas. Alas they locked the doors 30 minutes early. Too bad, as I would not recommend this establishment since they advertise that they close at 9pm. What else is false? View menu

Delicious authentic Salvadorian food, their curtido was very flavorful as well as their salsa. Their fried calamari was delicious along with their Siete Mares (7 Seas Soup) I have had better pupusas in Berkeley and Hayward, but they were still very delicious! Will definitely be going back!

Authentic Mexican Restaurant. We are visiting from out of town, working on a project and we found this restaurant while driving down the street. We stopped in, and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the service was very nice as well. The home made corn tortillas are out of this world delicious!

A restaurant which not only serves authentic Salvadorian food but also gives an holistic experience. Good food and great people. I would recommend visiting them for the experience at the least. We tried the vegetarian options and were not disappointed. The music can get very loud in there. Maybe that's how they have it though. View menu

I am amazed to see that this place has a 4.1 star rating, but I would personally give it no more than 3 stars overall. The food quality is quite average, the service is unprofessional, and the employees are very noisy when they talk. I also noticed that the fish tank looked very dirty, so I hope they clean it soon for the poor fish inside. Until I see a picture of a clean fish tank, I will not change my opinion. I do not think I will return to this restaurant.

This restaurant was an amazing find and is a must visit for lovers of Salvadorian food. Having lived in El Salvador for two years I can promise that the pupusas served there are legit and also boast loroco as an option, a condiment not every restaurant has. The atmosphere here is also very friendly with authentic loud music and kind waiters. If I had the opportunity I would be a regular here, but the least I can do is write this glowing review for anyone deciding if they should eat here. 5 stars!
