"This restaurant is the best in the area! I’ve dined here numerous times and have rarely been disappointed. I typically start with their egg drop soup, which is light (I believe they only use egg whites) and includes chunks of cabbage and carrots. It’s served with crispy noodles that make the soup feel like a meal on its own. For my main course, I order the Almond Chicken, which features zucchini and water chestnuts in a perfectly balanced brown sauce that’s never too salty. The chicken is always high-quality white meat, and each dish usually contains about the equivalent of one chicken breast. You’ll likely have leftovers after your meal, and they are great about offering to include fresh steamed rice in your takeout box. It can be tough to find good Chinese food where the sauces are consistent and the chicken isn’t deep-fried in excessive batter, but this restaurant consistently provides high-quality dishes."

Great food and service to match. My family has been going to Empress for years and like many others had noticed a sharp decline in quality in the recent past. We tried it again for the first time in nearly a year and were blown away at the improvement. Everything was fresh, hot and huge portions. We all agreed that it is better now than it ever was before. Glad to see the turnaround and will definitely be back.

I'm really glad I stopped by. The food is absolutely delicious. If you're looking for quality Chinese cuisine, this is the spot. It's one of the few authentic Chinese restaurants left. You won't find the low-quality buffets or fast Chinese food that are so common these days. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. The menu has a variety of options for everyone. Whenever I want to avoid mediocre Chinese food, this is my go-to place.

I have no complaints about Empress of China despite eating at the establishment multiple times. I've always been wowed by their egg drop soup and generous portion sizes. It's one of the few places I need a Togo box and get excited that I won't have to cook later. Prices are somewhat cheap but the food doesn't show it. Who are these people who 've had all these outlandish experiences here? Our family has been coming here for 10 yrs for lunch and never had anything but great food and great servers. We have stopped in for dinner a few times had take out several times in the evening with same food quality and service as our lunch experiences. It 's the only Chinese food I like anywhere.
