"Cute little Italian spot with good NY/NJ style Italian food for a great price! Food I had the pizza both times I was here and it was great! Done perfectly not too soggy, but not too crispy with a great amount of flavor. The baked ziti was great, but the penne that came on the side of the chicken parm didn 't really compare. They give a complementary order of garlic knots, which came out a bit cold, but nonetheless tasted delicious! To end the night, we shared a cannoli, which was scrumptious!! Service Great! Our waitress was very attentive and helpful I told her that I was a vegetarian and she did a great job explaining the menu. Everyone let us enjoy our dinner without any distractions even though we were in the aisle. Also, I called in to make a reservation a few hours in advance and explained that I 'm coming from a distance so I may be a little late to the reservation, and the gentleman was very understanding and said he 'd hold me a table regardless! Ambiance Cozy little restaurant with a live pianist to set the mood. Could get a bit loud and busy in the sense that there are a lot of staff walking around in a confined area, but it didn 't bother me one bit. Location You walk in through the pizzeria and then into the restaurant. Not in the heart of the city, but one good thing about that is that it 's easier to find street parking. Boyfriend gave this place a 3.7/5."

The review is for the round tomato pie. $6.50 for the whole pie. Crust is thin, sauce is light so it's a light meal. Nice and crispy outer crust. Friendly staff and fast service.

Sad this was one of my favorite pizza joints Now after a covid hiatus, pizza is back but only one small size for a whopping $19 bucks. No thanks, you're sadly going to lose a lot of long time customers.

I don't think this place is ever going to reopen. Things were getting a little weird in there even before Covid. Prices went up, portion sizes got smaller and containers for food changed. The short bald guy behind the counter was getting louder too, and not in a good/friendly way. View menu

This place is such a hidden gem. We had the fresh mozzarella and garlic knots and they were so so fresh and so so good!!! Then we had a cheese pizza and chicken parm. And omg! This might be the best cheese pizza I've had in Philly! The service for the most part was great except there was one young kid who seemed pretty miserable and was far from polite. The piano player and all the other servers were great though!

I tried the Cheesesteak, and it was quite good—the roll was fantastic and the sandwich itself was satisfying. While I waited for my cheesesteak, I noticed they were selling a lot of pizza. However, the short bald guy seemed indifferent to the takeout customers who were waiting for their food, as they were focused on a private party in the dining room. I'm not sure if I'll return, but if I do, it will likely be for a beer and some pizza.

Their tomato pie deserves a shout-out as well; it’s a marvel in its own right. Each bite offers a satisfying crunch that we all know and love. Although I've only dined in the restaurant once when I was younger, I still remember enjoying their chicken parmigiana over a bed of linguine. I was seated in a cozy corner and distinctly recall how delicious it was—and that I didn’t have to pay for it! So, that was definitely a win for me. Overall, I really enjoy everything that Francoluigi has to offer. Make sure to stop by and treat yourself to an amazing meal, my friends! View menu

This is probably my favorite pizza place in Philadelphia. Their pies are solid- incredible crust, the perfect amount of sauce, and the cheese is beautifully golden and gooey. Our absolute favorite is the roast pork and broccoli rabe pizza. If you're lucky enough to catch them while they still have roast pork available, definitely get it! It's like your favorite sandwich and favorite food had a beautiful love child. I have moved across the city, but still stop by for a pie when I'm in the area or want to surprise my husband with his favorite. Worth the drive and the inevitable 15 minutes to find parking.

I popped in for a quick bite after exploring Miracle on 13th Street. There wasn’t much seating available, and when I inquired about more seats, the cashier told me there weren’t any. However, after checking online, I discovered they also have a dining room. I might come back to see what other options they have there. I tried the cheesesteak slice, and it was incredible! There was cheese on top of the pizza and more melted beneath it. The pizza was rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor, with a generous amount of meat. Just a heads up, there’s a $10 minimum for card payments, which means that two slices and a soda would meet that requirement.

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
