"Been wanting to try this place after reading such great reviews.The girls and I came here for a birthday lunch today and it did NOT disappoint!!! The place has been cleaned up,its both warm and inviting.It was lunchtime so the bar was slow,we saw the bartender wiping everything down and doing a great cleaning of even the liquor bottles.Our waitress Phyllis was friendly, outgoing and didn't rush us a bit while we were having a long-overdue visit.We all ordered something different and we tried each other's and one order was better than the next!!! The portions were large and the homemade chips were better than any fry you could ever have! It was lunch and we didn't have cocktails but will go back to try some because the drink menu looks wonderful! Don't miss stopping by and trying an oldie but goodie out!!!!"

Food was excellent! Service even better. Our server Liz was so helpful, even though we had a few special requests. We got the crispy chicken sandwich, French onion soup and truffle fries. No complaints, we will be back.

My friend took me here for my birthday. The food was delicious. We had caramelized Brussels sprouts, Freddy Js short ribs, shrimp and grits, seasonal bread pudding and the s?mores pie. Grant was our server and was very helpful in making food choices. We definitely will be back for brunch! View menu

We’ve stopped a few times over the past two years and have never had a bad experience. Debbie (behind the bar) was friendly and helpful…the food was delicious as usual. This time we had the Brussels sprouts, chicken tenders (hot, honey garlic) and a chicken corn tortilla soup….all delish, scarfed up the soup to fast to take a pick….definitely returning!

We had a fantastic experience at Freddy J's! We have been regular customers since the restaurant first opened and each visit continues to exceed our expectations. The short rib grilled cheese and French onion soup were outstanding and are some of our top menu choices. Our server, Amanda, was friendly and attentive, informing us promptly of any daily specials. We had a delightful time, as always!

Wow!!! Loved this place! Took my in-laws here after seeing all your delicious food on your insta ? it 100% did not disappoint! The Mac and cheese was smooth, the corn bread?!?!? Holy moly. Almost like a corn pudding and on top of that some delicious honey butter! We had a great time and loved our server Stefani M! My husband and I decided to go here last Saturday after seeing good reviews on Yelp. Boy did we have a great time! Our bartender Liz is the best!! She made a smoked old fashioned that was so unique and delicious! Ordered the crab Rangoon, crispy chicken sandwich, and smoked brisket cheese stick.Our first disappointment was going there and trying to order food based off of pictures and reviews we saw online and being told they no longer serve the menu items we went there for.The second disappointment was the food. We immediately sent back the brisket sandwich because it lacked taste and the waitress boasted it was the best thing on the menu.2 stars because the staff was nice. Definitely not going to this establishment again.
