"We spent $140 on a meal for two, and the experience was disappointing. It took quite a while before anyone acknowledged us after we were seated. We ordered oysters, which took over 30 minutes to arrive. When they finally came, the person who shucked them did a poor job, leaving bits of shell in them. The side dishes reminded me of what you might find at a rundown fish camp—the slaw tasted stale, and the sides were served in a plastic sauce container. The service was lacking; no one checked on us, even though staff were nearby, too busy to see if we needed anything or to respond to our requests for items like forks or sauce. Additionally, they added an automatic 20% tip to our bill, but I intended to leave a reasonable tip in cash since I also work for tips. Overall, I don’t recommend this place and don’t plan to return."

The service was excellent. We ordered the calamari, chargrilled oysters, and crab dip, and everything was absolutely delicious. We will certainly be back soon!

This is a laid-back restaurant with simple yet delicious food. My son really enjoyed his seafood mornay, and the blue cheese oysters were incredible! The crab cakes were also good. Dominique was an excellent server, and his recommendations were perfect. We'll definitely be returning!

Wow, the food was outstanding! We started with the bacon-wrapped scallops, and the mango chutney was a wonderful surprise! My husband usually doesn't like spinach, but he really enjoyed the shrimp and grits with it added. I chose one of my favorites, the low country boil, and it was perfect—so many shrimp! The staff was also very friendly and attentive!

Surprisingly, the exterior resembles a typical plaza restaurant, but once inside, it’s a delightful, cozy, and welcoming space! We chose to sit at the bar and received fantastic recommendations from Dennis and Crystal. Each of the four of us ordered different items from the menu, and we were all extremely satisfied. The service was prompt, and the seafood was delicious. To top off the meal, we enjoyed marvelous cocktails and cheesecake. View menu

Dennis the Menace, Crystal, made my first dining experience at Full Moon truly unforgettable. I've been recommending this restaurant ever since I left. My mom and I had wanted to dine here for a while, so I decided to take her for her birthday. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was vibrant! It had a Charlotte vibe with a charming small-town feel. I will definitely be returning for more crab-stuffed oysters!

Excellent service, delicious food, and affordable prices. The menu boasts a wide range of options, and there are daily specials for food and drinks. The restaurant features mostly bar-style seating, but it functions surprisingly well at Full Moon. You'll find that servers are always around to assist you or nearby patrons, making it nearly impossible to go unnoticed if you need anything. Once again, the staff really impressed us with their attentiveness. We’re definitely looking forward to returning!

We have been dining here for years, and it never disappoints! The oysters are enormous, which may be a plus or a minus depending on your preference. The seafood is consistently fresh. The service is good, though not exceptional. On our most recent visit, a busy Saturday night, this was understandable. I chose the catch of the day, "red grouper," accompanied by asparagus and spinach. It was lightly seasoned and bursting with flavor. This place is definitely worth a visit, as long as you’re not seeking a fine dining experience. View menu

We enjoyed some drinks and admired the cool decor of the place. My girlfriend ordered the king crab legs, which were 1.3 lbs and priced at $95. I opted for a 6 oz filet for $35, which came with mashed potatoes. We also tried the cole slaw, which was tasty. The crab legs were particularly delicious. Our total for dinner was $205 before the tip. Wine was surprisingly affordable at just $3 a glass during happy hour. Overall, I think it was well worth it, and I highly recommend taking family and friends—they'll definitely enjoy it! And don’t forget to mention that Brian the Review Guru sent you!

I can always rely on Full Moon for a consistently enjoyable dining experience. Both the service and the food are reliably good. We visited on a busy Friday evening, but we were seated right away. I began with the crab bisque, which was thicker than I remembered and really delicious! The complimentary potatoes were also quite tasty. However, I’m not a big fan of the complimentary coleslaw; I can’t quite pinpoint why, but it feels like it’s lacking something. Next, I ordered the house salad, which wasn’t as charming or generous as it used to be. The highlight of the meal, as it should be, were the oysters—they were large and flavorful! I ordered mine chargrilled, while my husband opted for the...
