"To start, this Italian restaurant is super cute as you can see by the photos. There is plenty of seating whether you want to sit on the enclosed heated patio, high top by the bar, or low seating throughout. When you walk in, the wood fire oven is visible and really cool to watch them create some tasty pizzas. The service was prompt and super friendly. They are attentive but not overbearing, which I appreciate. My friend and got the calamari to start for an appetizer. Skip this. The calamari was extremely rubbery and tough. The sauce tasted like I was eating a whole lemon. It did not go well with the calamari. This was quite disappointing. For our main entrées, we went with the Balsamic chicken salad, Prosciutto and arugula wood fire pizza, and lasagna. The salad was absolutely delicious. The strawberries were fresh, pecans balanced out the sweetness, and the avocado gave hints of creaminess. Their lemon vinaigrette dressing paired perfectly with all of the ingredients. The wood fired pizza was cooked perfectly and the prosciutto was so tasty! Fresh mozzarella on top of this delicious wood fire pizza with the perfect sauce and crust. Last but not least, the lasagna! The lasagna was my favorite! The sauce had some surprising heat to it, but I really enjoyed it. It was also a nice portion. The pasta itself tasted homemade and authentic. Definitely reccomend this dish!Overall, a great Italian spot that services delicious food. I can't wait to return and try more on their menu!"

Delicious! I was taken there for my birthday. I had never been. We ate outside. The service was good, the food was outstanding. My chicken was the Chicken Picatta. Juicy, not dry at all. 2 huge skinless, boneless breasts that were delectable. The chickenparm I did not eat, it was ordered by someone else, but he enjoyed it.

Dinner for three we ordered small plates (they were smaller than we anticipated) and a pizza. All the food was delicious the meatball el forno with polenta was appropriately sized, but the Gnocci dish had maybe 6 noodles .... ?? Just felt it was not enough. While a casual restaurant, it seemed louder than should be. We will be back just will have to order the main dishes.

Gia mia is my favorite restaurant. I've tried a lot of things out on their menu and they never disappoint. I especially love their pasta and fresh salads! The cocktails are also spectacular (try the lemon travolta).... If visiting during The Weekend you definitely need to make a reservation because they are always busy. Most recently I had the short rib gnocchi (highly recommend) although I would have liked the plate to have more gnocchi since I'm a potato lover, but they surely compensate with the big slab of short rib on top. A few other things I strongly recommend on the menu are the wild mushroom sacchetti, zucchini fries, and arancini !! View menu

Highly recommend to come here for your next lunch or dinner date or a night or day out with friends! Made reservations last minute on open table for a belated birthday. Due to the storm the reservations were pushed back so as tables opened they wereoffering seating as the order of reservation. There was two seats available at the bar so my friend I and took it instead of ahigh table or booth option! Even being sat at the bar the service was amazing! Unfortunately I didn?t get both of the bartendersname, but they were both so great and attentive and gave great recommendations. They also didn?t rush us especially when we werethere close to closing time. Atmosphere and decor is beautiful. They...

Lovely! The blackened salmon was AMAZING. The spices on it were perfect and on top of the spinach salad was incredibly flavorful. Everyone loved their food. ALSO, the stinger pizza was also really good. I wish I wasn’t too full to have eaten more but man does it have a kick at the end from the hot honey. I really enjoyed that. They were out of their riesling but our server recommended the Bricco Riella moscato which was SO good. If you like sweet, I would recommend that. I loved it so much that I’ll have to buy it at the store because I could drink it anytime, it’s great. Our server was very patient, sweet, and had a very pleasant personality and the social skills were very well balanced to...

"I have driven by Victory for years and never knew what a delicious find this place was. We would go downtown Chicago for years to get oysters. Recently we were walking downtown Elmhurst and though let's just try an appetizer at Victory. It was happy hour so we enjoyed our cocktails and order 6 oysters. Big mistake. There was nothing absolutely nothing wrong about the oysters, nor how it was beautifully displayed nor their three different sauces (cocktailsauce/horseraddish, pesto jalapeno (which I thought I would not like but it was exceedingly surprisngly amazign), and a delicious vinegarette), nor the fantastic professional on POINT STAFF... The mistake was we only ordered 6.. we order 40 more!!!! It wasn't just the flavor and the taste of the sea that helped us to make this choice. But knowing that their momma mia east coast oyster at happy hour are $2 an oyster.........completely sold itself. I will never ever stop by in town and not visit my new favorite place, VICTORY. THEY DO NOT MISS ONE DETAIL. FROM THEIR STAFF, TO THE FOOD/DRINKS, THE DESIGN OF THE PLACE, THEIR BEAUTIFUL BLUE/WHITE PLATES. I can't believe I have wasted so many years not dining at Victory. The only thing I would suggest is to turn down the music for conversations. Otherwise, magnifico! Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"
