"This restaurant is possibly the best in the valley. It surpasses other Ethiopian restaurants in terms of flavor. Despite the increase in prices and decrease in portion sizes, you still get good value for your money. Our sambusas were slightly overcooked, but with a little instruction, it's an easy fix. The price you pay and the quality of the food make it worthwhile. However, it's worth noting that they don't open until 10pm, even though it's 9. They offer both traditional and regular seating options. I'm still thinking about returning to eat here a full day later. The food is truly delicious and there are plenty of vegan options to choose from, as well as honey wine on offer."

I am constantly amazed at the lack of patrons in this restaurant. The cuisine is scrumptious, reasonably priced, nutritious, and distinct. I am a frequent diner here and always leave contented. I highly recommend this establishment.

We enjoyed our dinner at Gojo! The vegetarian options were all excellent. The meat options, the sauce was great however the meat texture was a bit tough to eat. Loved the decor. Service was a bit slow but very friendly staff so we didn't mind. We will be coming back!

Downright home cooked Ethiopian food full of flavor and authenticity. The veggie dishes were soooo good...coupled with the spicy Awaze Tibs and the meat dishes... such a satisfying Ethiopian food fix. The restaurant is a no frills hole in the wall ...but the authentic meal and coffee ceremony set up is legit! View menu

I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back. It's been a while since I've had decent Ethiopian food. I particularly liked that they offered gluten-free bread when I mentioned my preference. Overall, the meal was excellent, and the woman who served me was very nice and accommodating to my vegan diet. Tasty

This is in the top 3 best spots I've had Ethiopian food. Tucked away in an unassuming strip mall, this is a hidden gem. The vegetarian platter is amazing. Everything is cooked to perfection, deeply and richly spiced and just scrumptious. The injera is nice and sour. Service is friendly and I was stuffed to the gills and so happy when I left !

Food was quite good and service was good enough. The major concern was the fact that there was a mf bottle cap in our dish ! Not sanitary. I don 't enjoy giving bad reviews but they need to take more precaution because trust me, this was not appetizing... On top of that, when we notified the worker, he reached with his bare hand in to grab the bottle cap and remove it, saying sorry . Sorry for the bad review but I had to bring this to attention View menu

Any negative reviews about this place are completely false. The food at this restaurant is incredible and perfectly seasoned. Every time I visit, the flavors are consistently amazing. I've been to other Ethiopian restaurants, but this one is definitely the best. The service and atmosphere are decent, nothing extraordinary, but the delicious food makes up for it. Don't hesitate to give this place a try, you'll be missing out on a great dining experience if you do.

Came here years ago then again tonight for the first time in a long time. I got Meat combo and the Gojo combo. Fire... we started with the Gojo which is a combination of the meet and veggie combos. It was so good we ordered the meats combo alone and a side of the greens. Their greens are crisp and deliciously full of flavor. It was all just so good I can't say enough about the food. The atmosphere was very quiet and not quite it but the service was great and the food is good. Come give it a shot if you love Ethiopian or just looking to try it for the first time.

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
