"The special that day was a veggie and rice pilaf served with chicken tawook, along with salad and soup. It turned out to be a generous portion, especially since I had initially planned to just get a sandwich. I had stopped at a liquor store next door to grab a six-pack, and I took a bit longer than the 10 minutes I promised to be back. When I returned for my food, the lady at the counter seemed a little annoyed—though in a charming way—that I was delayed, worrying that my meal might have gone cold. Once again, I appreciated her genuine concern for my food. As for the meal itself, it was fantastic. The chicken pieces were flavorful and juicy. When I order chicken tawook, my main concern is always how juicy the chicken is. I did find one piece that was slightly undercooked, but the rest were cooked perfectly. In my opinion, the veggie rice is what sets this place apart from my regular choices; it had a flavor reminiscent of the Middle Eastern restaurants I frequented back home. The stronger spices and seasonings were to my liking. If nothing else, I’d likely return just to try other proteins so I can enjoy the rice again. The same goes for the soup, which had more robust flavors than many others I’ve had. I really enjoyed it. The salad was also excellent, featuring very fresh veggies and a flavorful dressing. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. This was just my first visit, so I’ll likely have more to share about their menu as I try more items. I hope my family will be willing to check out this new spot when they return from their trip."

We came in and most orders looked like they were picked up. We ordered from the owner, I think 2 Gyro's and two water and we were full, but strange of a $20 still in our pockets. The restaurant is small, but it was clean. The prices are also reasonable. The food was excellent. View menu

The restaurant lacks beverage options and the staff is not very welcoming. It feels like a hole in the wall with little to no atmosphere, and there were no other customers present during my visit. The seating area was greasy and dirty, giving an overall impression of uncleanliness.

We came and we did not receive any attention from the server he was pretty rude attitude and didn't even say hello. When we ask for gyros as the name of the place he said the restaurant ran out of them. You can see he hate working in this place pretty bad experience despite all the good reviews here.

The food is consistently fresh! The portion sizes are very reasonable for the price. Two people can enjoy a meal for $20 to $25 and end up with more food than at most restaurants. We stop here for take out. My husband is not a big fan of the whole menu, but I have several favorites. Generally we both agree get the gyro appetizer to go. Excellent for a guick low carb meal that feeds the family. The baklava is very rich delicious. The owner is very nice helpful with suggestions on trying different options on the menu.

I had an amazing time in Toledo. The service was not quite what I expected. They were attentive to your needs, unless it involved mustard. The food is freshly cut and prepared right in front of you, which is a nice touch. The owner has been running the place for over 20 years, and it really shows. I will definitely be going back. It's incredible! They rely on word-of-mouth for advertising instead of promoting it heavily.
