"The ambiance was nice and the food was good, servers very friendly. We did wait what seemed like an exceptionally long time for our dinners, steak grilled salmon. I had 3 huckleberry lemon drops, which were good. We got some soft, fresh bread with garlic butter while we waited for our meals. Our meals came with salads, which had a few strawberries in them I'm glad my husband discovered those before I added my ranch dressing lol. Our dinners came with our choice of potato and some mixed veggies squash, broccolini, onions all of it good. They were out of their complimentary post dinner peppermint ice cream, so we had chocolate instead. It was a nice place for our anniversary dinner."

Ghetto dining. Stinks inside. Used to be awesome as Tugboat Annies in the ole days.

Looking for a good steak or just great food in The Dalles... This is your place! The outside of the joint looks somewhat intimidating, but the inside is warm and welcoming. Loved the atmosphere with every table fully dressed and the music of the Big Band Era was a nice touch. The wine selection was great and the menu was top notch. Something for everyone. The staff was very accommodating, pleasant and same. Enjoy!

This place was absolutely amazing! The food was on the spot and perfectly cooked. If you want to eat here, remember to call in a reservation as it fills quickly and is limited seating. Expect to wait for your order, but it is worth it!! The only thing I didn't like was the iced tea, it tasted like instant ice tea, but the fact that the waitress had the lemons I asked with my iced tea was great. If we're back in town next time, we'll be back!

Here at a recent visit to the Dalles. From the moment we entered, the ambience was welcoming and relaxing with an old-known feeling. The hostess immediately greeted us and sat near a window. Our server took our drinks orders within minutes. You have a small cocktail menu with a beer and a wine card. I ordered the Peach Tea a whisky cocktail) I am an enthusiastic whisky drinker and this drink is my new favorite. My husband and I ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer We LOVED View menu

"When we arrived, the young waiter did not acknowledge us for almost ten minutes, despite other staff members suggesting where we should be seated. Once we were finally seated, he ignored us again for another fifteen minutes until another employee had to direct him to our table. After we managed to place our order, he confirmed it, and we agreed it was correct. However, we continued to wait without receiving any soup that was supposed to come with our meals. Eventually, a waitstaff member who was assisting brought my wife her soup, and when she asked about our two egg flower soups, she was given those as well. Meanwhile, the young waiter was occupied taking another table's order and told them they could just check the menu for side orders they wanted. He seemed to be in a bad mood. We waited another thirty minutes, and my family shared my wife’s meal while we continued to wait for mine. When the waiter finally walked by, I asked him about my order (the number 12), and he simply said it hadn't been ordered. I told him I had indeed ordered it, and he replied that he would go put it in. In frustration, I told him not to worry about it, and he walked away. By this time, our three kids were restless, and we didn’t want to wait any longer. I asked another waitress for our check, and she could sense something was wrong. When we received the bill, it included the number 12, which had already been marked as paid. As we were in the middle of the restaurant, the waiter suddenly announced that my food was ready. I explained to him that I no longer wanted it, but he began conversing with his coworkers in their language, so we decided to leave. I have never been so disappointed in one of my favorite local restaurants. My family and I used to come here once or twice a month, and it saddens me to say we will not be returning."
