"This place isn't fancy, but hot damn is it good. Very quick for fresh-made food, too. Two large gizzard dinners and two sodas was $20 with no discounts or specials, and it was enough for two meals each. Bread and hot sauce included at no extra charge. I'll be back in a couple weeks to try the fried okra!Kid-friendliness: Kids love fried chicken, fish sticks and French fries. That's like half the menu. No-frills atmosphere, drive-thru.Parking: TONS of parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Great accessability!"

I believe it's a matter of personal preference. I initially thought the long line meant the food would be comparable to Ritchies, which was closed, but it lacked essential flavors like salt and pepper, along with any special touch. The food was fried, and that was about it—everything else is up to you to add some flavor. View menu

As a first-time visitor, I had to wait at least 15 minutes in the drive-thru from the moment I got in line until I placed my order and picked up my food. However, the burger I ordered was absolutely delicious and fresh. I assume everything is made to order, which makes the wait completely worthwhile. I will definitely be returning! Food rating: 5/5.

I'm from Tennessee, and my cousins took me to this Hooks location. The frying oil is incredibly fresh, the catfish is golden and crispy, and the desserts are homemade! They were also kind enough to cater the meal after my uncle's funeral last year. These three gentlemen have a remarkable ability to cook to order while also being friendly and engaging. If you ever decide to visit the greater Nashville area... just a suggestion! I definitely recommend trying this Hooks location!
