"I wish there was a spot for zero stars because that’s what this “restaurant” deserves. The food handling was so unsanitary it should be illegal. The cook, when out for break and came back in without washing his hands, started hanging utensils that he took from a 5 gal bucket and they started dripping in the clam chowder pot that was on the stove. I lost count of how many times the cooks wiped their faces, and still I had not seen them wash their hands. I witnessed so many health violations I’m surprised they’re not shut down. The food was very overcooked and greasy it was hardly edible. My son ordered chicken tenders which came out to us smelling like a two day old fish."

Best clam chowder we had on our trip! Creamy and thick. Sooo delicious!

Be prepared for a wait. 40 minutes for a 2 piece fish and chips. Not worth it.

Decent food, but this place takes FOREVER!! May as well go to a sit down restaurant. You'll be served quicker and there generally isn't adequate seating. View menu

Don't do most fish, had the fish and chip (cod or halibut) . Couldn't have been better. Parking: Area was busy have to walk a little. Not bad. Kid-friendliness: Not so, doable

Wanted a good fish n chips, came here bc of other reviews . Shared Halibut w/fries with the wife. $24. It was dry n rubbery, and had no crunch for being fried. Was not enjoyable. Not sure why so many reviews say it’s the best. I would not recommend.

Was disappointed with the order. Expensive for very small portions of fish. Chips weren’t fresh either. Overall the excitement of eating out was taking away as soon as you open the container to eat. To end on a positive note the fish was very nice to eat. View menu

Was not worth the hour and a half we waited. Just the normal greasy fish n chips. I don’t know what the hype is?? We were there for a weekday lunch. How can fried food take this long??? When we finally got our lunch, our onion rings were completely burnt. We brought them back and had new rings in 5 minutes, the normal waiting time for fried food. I would eat somewhere else because of wait time.

Possibly the dirtiest place I've ever eaten. Besides the food being so greasy it was at gas station level, what I watched was absolutely disgusting. The cooks were constantly wiping there noses, exchanging money with the lady at the register, and one went outside presumably to smoke. Not one time did any of them wash there hands. The register lady was opening to go orders, and moving food around inside of them with her bare hands directly after touching money. I don't know whether to force myself to vomit now or wait for possible food poisoning. I won't be back, ever.

"My wife and I were here a few weeks ago as guests of my mother. My mother ordered a pasta dish, I had a Philly steak sandwich, and my wife had the deconstructed California roll salad. We were left disappointed. Firstly, the dining room décor was dull. Everything in there is brown. Secondly, the food took entirely too long to arrive. When we asked our what the hold-up was, he explained that they were training some new cooks and that they weren't up to speed yet. Which would have made sense had the dining room not been roughly three quarters empty. Thirdly, and most disappointingly, my wife ordered her salad without the bell peppers. She simply doesn't like them. The salad had the peppers. Fortunately she doesn't have a food allergy, so she decided to eat around them. Then she saw the fly. A dead fly under the avocados. She sent it back immediately, and, stomach sufficiently turned, decided not to eat anything else that evening. Here's the punchline. Our server attempted to upsell us some desserts after he took the offending salad away. Craft, you failed. I don't care how green your cooks are, allowing flies on your food is unacceptable. You're supposed to have a pest control plan in place, are you following it? Because flies in the kitchen would suggest otherwise. Brookings lost a perfectly good Godfather's Pizza so you could be in that location. Do better. Or don't, we won't be back either way."
