"We just ordered a couple of cookies and some ice cream. We waited so long for delivery my husband called. The guy said it was waiting to be picked up for delivery. Waited another hour and my husband called again. A female answered and told us that they were out of 2 (of several) items we ordered so they CANCELED THE WHOLE ORDER. Funny thing is that they didn?t call to tell us they canceled our order, so we?ve just been waiting here for the delivery of overpriced cookies and ice cream. Honestly delivery is the only thing Insomnia had going for it in the first place and we will never order here again. I will say that in their defense, the female who answered the phone was very apologetic and professional and that a refund was issued upon cancellation of the order."

Ordered online like I usually do and went to let the store know I was outside and wanted curbside. The young lady said we never did curbside. I asked when it had stopped. She specified ? we?ve never did that and whoever did was just being nice. Just didn?twant to work that day I?m guessing that?s why she had an attitude.

Absolutely the best cookies I’ve ever had! I ordered a vegan 6-pack featuring birthday, chocolate chunk, and double chocolate cookies (2 of each). The pack cost $12.95, which is a bit of a splurge, but honestly, it’s worth every penny! The cookies are warm, gooey, and utterly delicious! The service was both friendly and quick, and with such amazing cookies, I will definitely be returning!

If you're a cookie lover, this is the perfect spot for you. And even if you’re not, it's still a great place to visit. They offer homemade-style cookies baked fresh from the oven, and you can choose to add ice cream on top or on the side with your favorite cookie selection. One of the best things about this place is that they’re open and deliver until 3 a.m. — how amazing is that? My personal favorite cookies are the S'mores, paired with the Monster Cookie ice cream. Highly recommend!

I waited 30 minutes in line, only to discover when I was second in line that they had run out of half the cookies I wanted. I ended up picking a six-pack of cookies and a pint of milk. The cookies were about the size of those from Subway, but the milk was 20 days past its sell-by date. Honestly, spending half an hour waiting wasn't worth it at all. I’m giving it two stars because the cookies were decent, but honestly, you’re better off just getting the $5 box from Pick 'n Save. Six cookies for fifteen bucks is definitely not worth it. I had never been to Insomnia Cookies and was very excited to try it, however I did not get to due to the very poor customer service. We walked in and the one employee there was standing by the register on her cell phone, with it on speaker, clearly on a personal phone call. She did not acknowledge us at all and continued to talk on the phone while we stood by the register ready to order. She then turned around and walked into the back, again still on her phone. We waited for her to come back but she did not and we decided to leave as we did not even want to give them our business at that point. Very disappointed.

Additionally, I was disappointed with a promotion from last year. They had a nice offer for Nurses Week, giving away free cookies. I received an email about it, but when I visited the store during regular hours, it was closed. After managing to get someone on the phone, I learned they were only doing deliveries and not participating in the promotion. It would be helpful if they could promote that more clearly before sending out emails. I also tried to reach out to corporate to share my experience and received some cookies in return, but I either couldn’t find a contact or didn’t receive a response—I'm not sure which.

"This restaurant was really trying to be the third coast by dumping the entire ocean 's worth of salt into their dishes. I have never been so thirsty in my life the day after I ate here. With the number of great reviews on top of the beautiful interiors, I had such high expectations for this restaurant that I happily brought my partner and his father (who traveled from out of the country to visit to the restaurant. Imagine my disappointment and embarrassment for bringing them here, only to be given overpriced and oversalted food. The only redeeming factors of the restaurant were the interior design (absolutely gorgeous , the potholes (delicious but still salty , and our waitress who served us in the mezzanine on 10/8 (I forgot her name, sorry! . When we first got our appetizer--the mushrooms, we were literally eating a spoonful of salt at a time. I RARELY send back food, but I had to send the mushrooms back before the dish induces any hypertensive emergency among us. After we got the new mushrooms dish after telling our waitress we wanted just 1/4-1/3 of the salt, the dish still came back extremely salty and the waitress said the cook apologized for ACCIDENTALLY DOUBLE-SALTING THE DISH. I 'm sorry, but WHAT. All of our subsequent dishes then tasted all just like salt without a hint of other seasoning. I wasn 't sure if it 's because our tastebuds were so skewed after eating so much salt that our remaining dishes just didn 't taste that great. It was just salty. Anyways we walked out with a $260 bill for three people which was outrageous for this quality of food in Milwaukee of all places. I 'm not sure how people are raging about this restaurant. I have sworn to never return and have told others to avoid going to this restaurant altogether. Opt for somewhere else for better quality food that 's actually worth the cost."
