"Being originally from N.J. I always thought this place was the closest in taste to Yankee pizza ! It was my Go To with the original owner and original crew ! When they first changed hands I tried it ! I thought the pizza was too doughy so I would go all the way to Peppermill from Stantonsburg ! Last night we decided to give them another chance after years of bypassing this place . I am so glad we did ! I apologize for my stubbornness but in my defense I am a loyal person ! I wish they would spruce up the place but that is not on them ! That is on Wilson County powers that be for letting certain parts get dilapidated while pouring monies into other parts ! Best food in all of Wilson I cannot even begin to explain how phenomenal the pizza was. The crust was perfection, the sauce was perfectly seasoned and the mushrooms were the best I'd ever had. The entire staff was so kind and considerate to slice my toddler's pizza for her.
