"It was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I wasn’t even aware of its existence before. After reading the positive reviews, which had no criticism at all, we decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be fantastic!"

The best spot in town for meatloaf! It's made from 100% Angus beef and served in a patty style. The portions are generous, and the service is excellent.

"We always enjoy J and M. We tend to get it thru door dash lately at least twice a month and the food is always on point. The French fries are delicious, I get the club sandwhich a lot, the super bird (turkey bacon cheese tomato melt is also delicious, my bf really enjoyed the fried fish today and it came with fries and green beans (not included in description so we ordered additional sides lol no worries as previously stated we love their fries!! . We also like that every meal we've ordered comes with a side salad for each entree (love getting some extra veggies in and so does my toddler . The food has always tasted high quality and is always made fast and fresh to order. Oh and the pancakes are frigging delicious (no picture cause we devoured them immediately . Vegetarian options: Lots of options and also can make adjustments to many other items to meet dietary needs/restrictions/preferences"

"Beautiful little place that has been a staple in the valley for 35 years. Still family owned and you can tell they truly care about their customers. The chef will usually come out when he gets a break and converse with guests to see how the food was. Many nights a pianist plays in the background while you eat. Food tastes homemade and amazing. As long as they remain open we will come here. Service: Dine in"

"The bald head man is amazing perfect service he is very kind food was good however, one of the female workers the one with butterflies tatted on her arm she came at us very rude. My husband asked her excuse me can we please get orange juice and water and she responded who is it for you or her. I was so shocked to even answer I just looked at him then her . She acknowledged she was being rude. Maybe under stress I have no idea but it was weird."

"Absolutely delicious! I ordered a chicken quesadilla, which was generously sized and came with sour cream, guacamole, and other sides. It was fantastic! Even the kids' quesadilla is quite large and includes a generous serving of fries. The enchiladas have a unique twist but are still very tasty. The ambiance is charming, adorned with photos of Guadalajara and lovely decor. Overall, I had a wonderful experience!"

"It’s been a really long time since I have gone to a Polly Pie’s, so when my husband drove by it he insisted we drop in and have lunch and I am so glad he did. My mom and I used to come and have mom and daughter date lunches together when I was a young child. I absolutely loved this place growing up. They have a great food selection and the service is always very good. Our waitress Tamera was absolutely amazing and so good with my youngest daughter and made her feel very special. She was courteous and friendly and always had a smile on her face. She made us feel like longtime friends and was so cheerful and prompt with her service. This was definitely the highlight of the restaurant was the customer service provided by her. I wish this was the way most restaurants treated their customers, as it was a huge part I am giving them a 5 star review. The food of course was as good, as I remember it as a child. I had a Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, southern styled green beans and a roll. My hubby got the Philly cheesesteak and fries and my little girl went all out and got a big bowl of fruit and a milk. The best part about the steak was it was a great size portion and not one of those little thin patties you’ll sometimes get, so I was very happy to see them giving a generous portion of meat. Potatoes obviously one of my favorite sides was amazing and just the right amount of gravy and the green beans, spectacular. If you ever haven’t tried southern green beans, go try them. They are amazing! I make them at home all the time with my family and all 8 kids we have from ages 2-23 years love them. Anyways, as far as cleanliness, they do a very impressive job with making sure the restaurant was kept clean, even though I believe they may have had a car hit the side of their building. I didn’t think too much about that though, as it is in Hemet and Hemet doesn’t always have the best people living there. Besides, it looked like they were almost done with restoration and they were doing an amazing job keeping everything clean and tidy. I only mention this though, as if you follow my review and go try the food yourself you may wonder why that wasn’t mention. I’m telling you though from the looks of how many people where their having lunch’s and breakfast, no one seemed to mind at all and neither did I. Can’t blame them for someone else’s mistakes. I’m just keeping my eyes on what and how they did. Prices to are very reasonable and that is always appreciated. All in all, definitely making this my come to spot and maybe make it my daughters and I regular attendees of this establishment. Thank you all for making this stop a pleasure!"
