"Incredible Carribean eats nested in Crown Heights that leaves you feeling overwhelmingly satisfied. The exterior isn’t flashy but the food comes from the hands of Caribbean’s who know exactly how to prepare their sacred dishes. I’ve dined on the Jerk Wings and Stewed Chicken which were finger licking delicious. However, the Curry Goat with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains stole the show. Enjoy."

I ordered takeout last night, and the oxtail was unpleasant and caused me food poisoning.

The chicken in brown sauce was absolutely delicious! I noticed a sign in the window indicating that the restaurant is for sale, so hurry over and try this amazing chicken before it's gone! View menu

Listen. The food doesn’t get better than this place. You want jerk (it’s amazing), you want friend chicken (lawd oh lawd it’s tender, crispy and juicy). Lovely owner. I highly highly recommend this place

We ordered the jerk chicken and goat curry for takeout, and both dishes were phenomenal! We will definitely return to try the oxtail and other menu items. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was remarkably fresh. I highly recommend this place! View menu

Jemz... you didn't have to snatch my soul like that. Why y'all food so mouthwatering? This food was heaven sent. One of the best Jamaican restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of eating at. If you're out past Prospect Park, or anywhere in Brooklyn, do yourself a favor and hit this spot up forreal.

Between my girlfriends and we ordered the curry chicken and oxtail- the food was literally AMAZING. I don’t normally eat all the food on my plate when I go out but I ate EVERYTHING. I’ve never had chicken melt in my mouth, then add in all the delicious flavors of the curry, rice, plantain- I’m in heaven . Definitely coming back! Thank you Jemz!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
