"I ordered the Baked Penne, which the menu describes as seasoned ricotta cheese with penne pasta, baked and topped with melted mozzarella. The waitress came back not once, but twice, to confirm my order. However, when my meal arrived, I received spaghetti with meat sauce instead. I didn't eat it since it wasn’t what I ordered, and quite frankly, it didn't taste very good. Since it took a while for our large order to arrive, I chose not to send my meal back and instead just had some of the pizza we ordered, which was quite enjoyable. When the waitress came back after 20 minutes to check if we were ready for the check, I politely told her that my meal was incorrect and that I hadn't touched it, but that it was alright since I had the pizza. I simply requested that she remove the incorrect dish from the bill. Her response was, "Oh, well you really confused me with your order because you can order all these things in so many different ways, but I guess I can take it off your bill." I didn’t complain, wasn’t disrespectful, and definitely didn’t make a scene. I’m not sure why she felt the need to place the blame on me for the mix-up with my order. I didn’t make any special requests or changes; I simply asked for the baked penne. Instead of receiving an apology, I felt criticized, and the receipt was nearly tossed at us. I'm not seeking coupons or free items. One experience like this is enough for me to steer clear of this location in the future. I don’t wish for anyone to be fired or reprimanded, but I do hope they can enhance their service."

I always enjoy the pizza and calzones here. However, I've consistently found that the mozzarella sticks are empty and have no cheese in them. This has happened multiple times, and now I remember why I’m hesitant to come back. View menu

I ordered a pizza for delivery, and it took over an hour and a half to arrive (partly due to the delivery service). When it finally got here, the pizza was cold and poorly made, with some toppings completely missing. One side of the pizza was just dough with nothing on it. This experience was as bad as it gets—completely unacceptable.

Came to pick up a pizza from a phone order I had made. No staff were wearing mask, I was greeted by a rude front desk guy. Being the only person in the restaurant wearing a mask, the guy forced me to repeat my order multiple times even though his coworker had given it to him, he gave me a check and walked to the back before I could even sign it. The garlic knots were overcooked and almost dry. The strombolis were mediocre at best. My wife's drink disappeared when we requested a refill, and I think it ended up at another table. They also messed up the bill by charging less initially, but then adjusted the cost to be closer to the correct amount while processing the card, without notifying us of the changes. Overall, this was by far the worst experience at Johnnie's. I recommend going to a different location.

I recently visited Johnny's Pizza on Old 41 Hwy and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The cashier didn’t even glance at my online receipt to verify if it matched the items in the box I had pre-paid for, including a tip. When I opened the box, I discovered that part of my order was missing. When I brought this to the cashier's attention, she just rolled her eyes in response. To make matters worse, the calzone was soaked in oil and inedible, so it ended up in the trash. I had hesitated to order from this place due to previous unsatisfactory experiences, and now I understand why it was so empty. Lesson learned!
