"We ordered the Chicken Wrap and the Honey Chicken Sandwich, along with a side of loaded fries. The food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was great, and the lively atmosphere made for a fun backdrop while we waited for our food to arrive. One thing to note is that there are quite a few pigeons roaming around, hoping to snag some crumbs. We didn't mind at all, as we love animals and birds, and may have even shared a few crumbs with them. Overall, I think this is a fantastic spot to sit outside and enjoy a meal. We can’t wait to go back and see what they have in store for their Christmas display!"

My 15-year-old had a fantastic time celebrating his birthday at this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly.

I wouldn’t go here if it was just for myself. It was good to meet friends though. Their drinks are their strong suits.

Went on a Sunday evening for my daughters bday. The food was just okay, they're teenagers and complained. We ordered the wings and burgers, not special. I had a few drinks so I skipped the ice cream. View menu

Food was okay. Nothing special. The vegan shake was horrible, and I have had many vegan shakes. Dining area was dirty, and service was very very slow with almost no other patrons. Expensive for what it was.

Some legit vegan options, but crazy overpriced. Very typical vegan burger at 2x cost of similar Stand-Up burger offering. Obnoxious forced 18% service charge. With a drink, I spent $50 on a workday lunch break for 1 person.

The food and service were amazing. However, when we were outside painting our pumpkin in the themed pumpkin patch, a rat kept running past our feet. We had leave early and leave our wet...unfinished masterpieces...lol...pumpkins behind. The staff was nice enough to let us take home an unpainted pumpkin so we could have a redo without the rat interrupting our fun time. Overall, I'll be heading back to JoJo's for their Christmas themed outdoor patio when less animals are out in the streets of Chicago. View menu

Looked like a fun place to eat. Made reservations at 5 pm giving us plenty of time to make a 7:30 show. We were seated on time and given menus to look over, but that was the last time anyone stopped by our table. After 20 minutes of just sitting there watching employees walk past, we decided to go somewhere else where we could actually have someone take our order. Would have really liked to try the food, but really annoyed that no one stopped by after placing the water down to at least apologize that they are busy and will come back soon.

JoJo's is known for over-the-top luxury milkshakes, and their vegan Nada Shake does not disappoint. It's an Oreo milkshake with peanut butter along the rim topped with Oreos, a sugar cone, and an oatmeal cookie- all vegan. The veggie chili was also great, very flavorful with a good kick and quinoa among the beans and veggies that gave it a nice thick texture. Quite expensive, but worth the splurge for a special treat. They also carry the Beyond burger and some salads that can be customized vegan. (photo pictures non-vegan cotton candy shake to the left, and the vegan shake to the right)

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
