"I visited this restaurant for my nephew's middle school football banquet, so my experience was different from that of a typical diner, as we had buffet-style service. The food was surprisingly good for a banquet—tender chicken, well-cooked fish, delicious French fries, and fantastic hush puppies. However, alcoholic drinks were not included in the banquet package, so we had to head to the bar downstairs for those. LaToya, the bartender, was exceptional; she made an excellent Old Fashioned and Bloody Mary, and she was incredibly friendly to all the patrons I saw. Unfortunately, the restaurant seemed under-staffed. Additionally, it had snowed that afternoon, and the indoor temperature felt barely above 60 degrees, which led people to eat while wearing their coats. The woman managing the buffet appeared a bit cranky, likely due to the lack of help. I would give an A+ to LaToya for her service, but I need to deduct a star for the slow service and the cold temperatures inside, which made it quite uncomfortable at times. Overall, the food was quite good!"

Thank you to KingFish for hosting our FDBM event! The atmosphere was lovely, the staff was friendly, and the food was fantastic! The parking situation was also ideal. I can't wait to come back and bring more of my friends next time!

My family and I were seated by the window, which offered a fantastic view. The service was great. I particularly enjoyed the fresh hush puppies and cod. If you walk in and there's no host available, just be patient—they will come to assist you.

Waited to be seated, never got seated restaurant looked short handed, for the price fish was very small, got better service at carry out, fountain soda, way over priced. I understand things are higher these days but really a lot is price gauging.

We shared a fish box for two with three other people, and it was absolutely delicious! We also ordered a pint of coleslaw to complete our meal. It was so good! The hushpuppies are the best in town. One of our party of 11 ordered the onion rings, and they were enormous and perfectly fried. View menu

My family had a great time at King Fish. We wanted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather so we ordered carry-out. We ordered too much food, but it was all very good. I think the only thing that we didn't finish was the fries. My little guy especially loved playing on the playground while we waited.

We ordered the family meal to go, and although we usually dine in, we really loved the takeout experience. The service was friendly, the portions of hot, juicy fish were generous, and the hush puppies were incredible. The fries and onion rings were also perfect. It was worth every penny. We'll likely continue to order takeout in the future. Keep up the fantastic work serving your customers!

I appreciate that the restaurant is located by the river and has a small outdoor play area for children, along with outdoor seating where a live band performed. They also have a good selection of wine. I enjoyed the hush puppies. However, I noticed they were short-staffed, as indicated by a sign at the entrance, so we anticipated slower service. Unfortunately, the food did not quite meet expectations and was comparable to Long John Silver, just at a higher price point—Long John Silver would win that comparison! The salmon was very dry and overcooked, which was disappointing. The interior atmosphere could also use a refresh. Overall, I would recommend looking for dining options elsewhere.
