"The two appetizer shrimp were good, with the right color and appearance. The rice was acceptable, but then came the smaller shrimp of poor quality, cooked before the steaks—like those frozen bags from Costco or Sam's Club, perhaps even worse, shipped from who knows where. I managed to eat three of them, which tasted like chlorine and cheap seafood, with almost no teriyaki or seasoning, just a bit of butter for cooking. At this point, my Coke had run out. The waitress returned to refill everyone’s water and tea, but not my Coke. I waited a long time and only got a refill when the cook was almost finished. By this time, my steak was sitting on my plate, getting cold while I was still thirsty from the shrimp and rice. I noticed other staff members standing around in the hall, on their phones, doing nothing. When the waitress finally returned, she brought a pitcher of flat, stale Coke that had clearly been sitting out for who knows how long, instead of a fresh glass like you’d expect at a restaurant of this quality and price. As for my steak, it was the blandest hibachi steak I’ve ever had—no seasoning, just some butter, and it had large chunks of fat from cheap meat that hadn’t been trimmed properly. I ended up with bites that were half fat. I might understand this level of quality and service at a fast food-style Japanese restaurant, but not at a hibachi-style sit-down restaurant where you expect trained chefs and decent service. Honestly, this is the worst Japanese food I’ve ever had for the price. I've dined at other Kobe’s for over 20 years, and this is far from what I remembered. I left half the awful food on my plate in disbelief, although the rice was decent. I didn’t even take the leftovers home because I wouldn’t want my dogs to eat shrimp of that quality—no joke! Never again."

Place stays so packed we didn't get to go in and ear. We saw the line and turned right back the other way and went elsewhere. I can not rate the food, service or atmosphere because did not get to experience it. View menu

My husband ordered the steak and absolutely loved it. I had the scallops, but I wasn’t very satisfied as they lacked flavor. I was also a bit disappointed to find that they don’t serve sushi, despite what their website claims. They really need to update their website.

Do not! I repeat, do not patronize this business! Kobe Japanese steakhouse attempted to charge my credit card over $4000 for a meal that was less than 100! Fortunately, my Bank detected the fraudulent activity and prevented the transaction from going through! I will never darken their doors again and I advise that you do not either! ?

Very fun dining experience. You will be sat with other parties to fill the table, but the seating does not force you to socialize with them if you are an introvert. Chefs are skilled and fun! Food is excellent and fresh to order! Parking: Arriving early for their dinner service hours ensures you get a parking spot. Often, vehicles park on the grass later in the evening because the lot is full (it would not be ideal for disabled individuals to arrive later! View menu

The restaurant was busy, parking lot nearly full and it appears they were severely understaffed. They only had two hibachi chefs and about three servers in charge of two full dinner rooms with large wait times. We waited over an hour to be seated. The restaurant especially the dining room area was dirty. The floor was filled with bits of food everywhere. I understand they were busy but taking a couple minutes to sweep in between tables when lots of people were celebrating birthdays, would’ve made for a more clean and pleasant experience. Our server was awful. She was rude, rushing all of us, throwing our straws at us and when I asked her a question about the menu she was rude and wouldn’t ev...

Read other reviews before deciding, if you're concerned. I go out of my way to leave positive reviews and hold myself back from the negative ones 95% of the time. I grew up going to this place for years and loved it. It's been there since I can remember, and I'm now 30. Today, It's blatantly obvious that they care about nothing but the bottom dollar. Just a little context. I took my dad and his wife for Father's Day this weekend. It was the most dull experience I think I've ever had at any restaurant. It was like every employee was there against their will or something. Every task they had to do felt like it was rushed, forced, it annyoned them to have to do it, and we could not get out of t...
