"After I just came back from a 2 week trip to Italy, I can say that this restaurant is the next thing you will get in our area. great atmosphere, good wine selection and good food. This is a more upscale restaurant so you expect to pay more. It is worth the cost (which is not even so expensive) We ate the beef tenderloin Carpaccio (high recommendation) the Octopus Salad, Wild Boar Ravioli and Basil Spinach Gnocci. Everything was very delicious and brought out at perfect intervals. Perfetto!"

I visited several dishes this evening during my first visit. The Gorgonzola pudding small plate was unique and amazing. The Ravioli sampler was perfect, some of the freshest pasta you will ever have. The cook is definitely proud of its dishes and it shows. Service was also excellent, will be back!

This was our second visit to La Violetta and it did not disappoint. The mushroom soup was rich and tasty. My eggplant parmigiana was delicious. I order it often at different restaurants, and this one was excellent. The three other people with me were also very satisfied. Our server was very helpful and charming, and the dining area where we were seated was calming and lovely. We will return.

It was our first time here after searching for romantic restaurants because it was our anniversary. It was exactly that small cozy we felt right at home, other tables along with Lourdes were in a group conversion reminded me of being around family. After traveling through Italy for two weeks, I have to say this is really authentic, fresh Italian cuisine. My husband and I were very happy. This is the best Italian restaurant in the area, one of the best restaurants in any category. Had the Tripe appetizer, incredible! Be open and try it! All pasta was homemade, sauces were incredible. The restaurant is so cozy, super ambience. Service was very friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing people and amazing food!!! I’m in the wine business and I travel 6 months out the year in USA promoting my wines in 22 States and I must say that La Scarpetta has excellent food very authentic in the most up-scale meaning of the terms!!! High end Italian cuisine with an amazing research of real Italian flavors, Ingredients and technique!!!! All of it in a super comfy and casual little restaurant...love it!!! Bravo!!!!!!!!
