"I recently visited this restaurant for lunch and had an amazing experience. The service was absolutely wonderful; the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was also fantastic. I ordered the roasted red pepper hummus, which is my favorite dish here. I always choose to add some veggies with the pita, and the small extra charge is definitely worth it. This is the best roasted red pepper hummus I've ever had, and the jalapeños on top really enhance the flavor. It wasn't very busy during my visit, so I hope they’re doing well. I definitely recommend checking this place out! Their burgers and chicken sandwiches are also excellent, as I've enjoyed them in the past."

I had the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, and it was delicious! The biscuit was incredibly fresh and seemed homemade. It made for a fantastic breakfast.

Great place for lunch. Had a delicious gyro with sweet potato fries, and a refreshing cucumber cocktail. The only downside is the lack of shade for some of the outdoor seating.

It was our first time eating here, and it was so good! Excellent! Also, the price is not bad either. We had the fries, Brussel sprouts and Taylor Swiss. So so so good. This will be a new favorite of ours. View menu

The hummus tastes like vinegar and the the lemon garlic mayo definitely tastes closer to Mayo; not like the authentic Middle Eastern garlic dip that goes on a schwarma. The fries are tolerable, but not worth coming back for!

The Patty Smith burger was absolutely delicious and incredibly juicy. The Firebird chicken sandwich was also excellent, featuring a delightful blend of flavors. However, the Cluck Norris didn't stand out much. The Falafel fries were quite tasty, and the Spicy Batata was decent, though definitely on the spicy side. Overall, I rate the food a 5/5.

We were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, but that wasn't a problem. The service was prompt and attentive. The Shawarma was cooked to perfection, and the Buffalo cauliflower bites with blue cheese were definitely the highlight; I could have easily ordered two servings of those. We enjoyed it all with a reliable City Wide APA. The atmosphere had a great mix of punk, classic, and laid-back vibes. I'll definitely be returning! View menu

On April 1, Layla's interwebs were down but they still accepted online orders. When we arrived for pick up, they said, whoops, they couldn't make our food but we would be refunded.A week later they refunded us everything BUT the tip. After several unhelpful phone calls, they still refuse to give us the full refund. They were also truly rude over the phone, implying I'm the annoying one for asking.I don't care if it's only a tip this is stealing. Shady, lazy, poor management with overpriced food to boot.

Layla used to be one of my favorite options in the Grove. Perhaps it’s due to the new location and not being as up and ready, but the quality seems to be way down. My partner and I ordered two falafel shawarmas, fries and a drink. It cost about $48. The dish used to have an option of lavash or pita. Unfortunately, the pita is the automatic option now and could not contain the ingredients. The ingredients were thrown in haphazardly and the falafel was in stick form, I guess to accommodate the pita. However, the fries were still good and the sauces were tasty. It just seemed overpriced for what it was.
