"We chose to eat here based on the good reviews on TripAdvisor and its proximity to Gare Montparnasse as we were due to catch the last TGV service back to Rennes.While the service and ambiance are good I felt disappointed by the food. My other half had the Bavette d'Aloyau which was pleasant enough but the translation on the menu was "Sirloin" which is probably not 100% accurate (Bavette is a flank cut more suited to braising which fits with what was served). At least it was nicely cooked and by all accounts was very enjoyable.My son and I, however, had the Poulet fermier rôti au four - this would have been enjoyable enough but for the fact that it had clearly been kept hot for some considerable time and arrived dried out and tough. Normally I would have sent it back but after a hot and tiring day pounding the streets of Paris sightseeing (it was my son's first trip) we were hungry enough to eat almost anything. We were also acutely aware of passing time and did not want to miss the train.Dessert (crème brûlée for me and coffee ice cream for my son) was good, as was the coffee.Prices are not unreasonable for Paris, three mains, two desserts, drinks and coffee came to 91 euros.Had it not been for the chicken I would have given a solid four stars. As it is no kitchen should have allowed the chicken out to a customer so I have awarded two stars for food on that basis and three overall."

This restaurant exceeded my wife's and my expectations. I had a ribeye steak and she had the lamb nightly special. The entrees were well prepared and very tasty. We split a desert of brioche that is the restaurants signature desert. In a nutshell, it was a great meal and a great value for the money. I most highly recommend this restaurant for its great location and casual cosmopolitan ambiance. Sit inside to get away from the smokers sitting at the outside tables.
