"We visited Liberty House for the third or fourth time yesterday, and it's quickly becoming our favorite brunch spot! The French toast and BLAT I had on previous visits were outstanding. Although I typically don’t order salads, I decided to try the Cobb salad this time, and it was fantastic. It was incredibly fresh with a delightful mix of flavors, and without a doubt, the best bacon I've ever had. The service was consistently friendly and attentive as well. Make sure to save us a table on the outdoor terrace—we'll definitely be back!"

This kind of attention to detail in offering a variety of salsas is a testament to their commitment to providing an authentic Mexican dining experience. For my meal, I ordered the steak fajitas, paired with their house special margarita. The sizzle of the fajitas as they were brought to the table instantly got my taste buds going. "The food, beverages and service were excellent, and our table in the back looked into the garden...too bad it was a little chilly to dine outside. The only drawback was the noise level as there does not appear to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. We were seated next to a table of 6 or 7 and they were having lively conversation with lots of laughs. Nice folks but we were not unhappy when they finished. Reina was a good value and we'll go again when we come back to Frederic."

"Chestnut is my favorite restaurant in Asheville. Staff is wonderful, ambience is great for anything between a romantic meal and a company dinner. They have a nice bar area. Portions are moderate (don't expect a trough of food like you get at a chain restaurant) , but I will take quality over quantity any day. For the quality you get, the prices are fairly moderate and worth it. Probably only costs about $30 more than dinner for 2 at Olive Garden. The menu changes regularly. Make SURE to save room for their desserts. The souffle is divine! I walk out of their feeling satisfied every time."

"My daughter and I had dinner while we were in Asheville on a busy, and crazy loud, Saturday night. Something to absorb sound in the restaurant would be lovely. Dinner was good but lacking in some areas. The hostess sold us on the chicken dish with promises of homemade giant croutons that were crunchy yet soaked in the chicken juices. No croutons came with ours and when we asked for them, a plate was brought with really hard, huge croutons. Not the same. Carrots were either super flavorful or barely cooked. A non-alcoholic strawberry drink was sour and when asked was made with “vinegar”. Everything was good but could, and should, have been much better."
